I am ghetto trash so I feel I can comment on this intelligently. Pole dancing was a huge fad about 5 years ago. All the housewives in the slums here saw it on some show and took it up to "lose weight" and impress their boyfriends. Pole dancing does not equal stripping for pervs like a strip club.
