Slavic unity won't be achieved in our lifetime, possibly never. We think of ourselves as too different, a lot of Croatians don't even think they are Slavs, when asked about Russians people don't know we came from the same place.

To be fair, gopnik culture, hardbass and slavic memes reminded people of their Slavic origins, no matter how silly that sounds it's true. I would argue that we need a sense of common history and destiny as Eastern Europeans (excluding Russians). We are under treat by both Russia, the West and Turkey. We have always been attacked by those three groups. If our nations are to survive and be independent we must strongly cooperate against Russian Asiatic vatniks, Western gender-scum and Turk Neo-Ottomans. Intermarium.

True we arent exactly the same. South Slavs , West slavs, East slavs are different by their own. But language, culture and history unifies us. What you said is true, we must start by helping each other and creating a sense of unity even in people who havent previously supported the idea. Like at work or in everyday life in general, try to put your kin and any other slav kin as priority. We must start extending this very lowkey among normies.

Most really don't care because that doesn't concern them personally. Those who watch too much TV supports it, but mostly of an opinion that it needs to be done to destroy the evil Ukrainian government that sold out to US and that actual people of Ukraine are our brothers. There are vocal fringe minorities who talk about killing all ukrainians because "not true slav" and "american whore" or ones that say that we should give reparations, split Russia and submit western part to Ukrainian rule.
I personally don't even fucking know what to think of all this. It's very useful to politicians on both sides, so it will continue for sure.
But my friends went to Lviv during the most hysterical period of this mess to the music festival and people were friendly there if a bit awkward because of the situation. Several guys from Ukraine here in Moscow I know are all good and no one has any problems with them. Crimea probably won't be given away and I'm not sure that Ukrainian politicians really want it back. It will be too expensive and they will lose their leverage and abused underdog status.

y'all are just too butthurt at each other to make it happen. Yugoslavia broke apart with ethnic cleansing. the Russian Empire broke apart with a series of invasions and annexations. Poles are still butthurt about how the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth ended. only Czechoslovakia came apart peacefully. not even the USSR, which was maybe only 2/3rds Slavic, came apart entirely cleanly; Russians and Ukrainians are killing each other in Donbass as we speak.
I don't see any point in a political union. even Russia and Belarus, which have a virtually unguarded border, have minor disputes over stuff like visas and food products. y'all should start traveling to each other's countries, open up business ties, or even just chat with each other online in a civil manner, before thinking about anything as big as a political union.

Slavic unity is just a dream, there are slavic nations that just wont go with eachother for example Croaria and Serbia, Poland and Russia, Ukraine and basicly any other slavic country.

Sadly, we were nuked really heavy by communism. Russian culture was destroyed. Some people ran away, others were cleansed. Our orthodox church is ruined and filled with literal kgb agents. Traditional pagan groups are filled with nazis and kgb informers. Traditional clothing, music and celebrations are seen as foreign. Modern Russian culture is nothing more than soviet urban worker culture + statism. It's hard for people like me who is interested in our own culture and want to restore it. Outside of Moscow and couple of other big cities it's a depressing shithole with mostly shitty people and I consider getting out of here actually, because newer generations are even more unhinged and I don't feel safe for my children that I want to have.
in my opinion, this image sums up intra-Slavic wars pretty well. it's pretty difficult to tell who is ever at fault. from my perspective, it seems that there is rarely anyone to blame in Slavic conflicts, it's usually two sides both hurting each other and claiming dindu nuffin wrong.
I know some Ukrainians in Moscow as well, including several of my good friends. nobody cares that they're from Ukraine, although I don't think any of them support the Ukrainian government. they largely consider themselves to be Russians, especially the ones from Crimea. I've never met anyone from Crimea that was upset about joining Russia, they'd rather fight the Ukrainian Army than be under the control of the Ukrainian government again.

First step to form any kind of inter-Slavic partnership would be to apologise to each other. Official apologise from every Slavic nation to another with whom they were in a conflict with. Then we can talk about our common future.
There should be a cultural meeting, where folklore groups from Slavic countries meet and display cultural riches, dishes and what not. It should probably best work in Warsaw beacuse it's kinda Slavic middleground, that would bring some ideas to peoples minds.

should be have a pan-slavic language?
maybe two languages? one of west slavs (in latin) and one for east slavs (in cyrilic)?
if yes, then we should decide on the language, make tutorials on it, and speak it in these threads
-the culture question:
we should study and promote slavic mythology. familiarize ourselves with slavic history, and look at it from all sides, but ultimately from a "brotherly" pan-slavic point of view. where ideally no one is considered "wrong"
we should also buy slavic made products, etc
as for religion, we can have some pagan thing that we support, tho most slavs seem to be christian
and as for politics, we can try to agree on something, but it's prob best to stick to democracy, as it's the most permissive and least divisive (monarchy at best, tho i'm not aware of anyone to take up a crown)

More exchange students (we already do that to an extent), folklore groups to travel around and schools to organize trips to other slavic countries and children to be taught their history.
