There is no equivalent in any other place in the world of the American phenomena of massacring others in schools, working places, cinemas, without any previous criminal context.
REACTIONARIES CAN'T EXPLAIN THIS WITHOUT ACCEPTING THE FACT THAT THIS IS PRIMARILY A GUN PROBLEM
Most of these massacres, in the last 20 years, occurred on American soil. The phenomena, undoubtedly, is an American one. Some schools in the US even have 'shooting protection procedure'.
I can write endlessly on the heinous American worship of firearms, and how easy it is for an American citizen to purchase one along with his bread and chocolate snackbar. The fact is, the American society have a symptom no society other than some 3rd world societies have
It should be true but it's not. Although there is no specific waiting period prior to purchase of a firearm in New York, all handgun purchasers must obtain a license to possess or carry a handgun, and such licenses may take up to six months to process (or longer, upon written notice to the applicant).

in the grand scheme of things it's still extremely rare to die by gunshot. If you're scared of it then there are lots of of countries that will restrict your right to own a firearm for you.
This. Deliberately disingenuous infographic. Northeastern states make it exceedingly difficult to legally purchase firearms - assuming you have a license (months of time to get, if at all) its just a quick trip to the store. However that shit gets the base riled up so they keep banging on about it. I bet this is a 1 post by this id slide thread for gauranteed replies. Sage.

it's not a fucking rag like Breitbart you dumbass, these people have standards here's the link for those who can't google mashable.com/2016/02/25/gun-cronut/

>Gun ownership existed throughout the entire history of the United States > Mass shootings are a recent phenomenon >It's obviously MUH GUNS
Or it could be the horrible social policies put in place by both sides since the 60s and around 20 years ago is when we started to see much of those policies play out.
Surprise people aren't happy in their Jewish lullaby slumber. Not a gun problem. Guns could possibly be used to solve the problem though...

yes, something resembling reason I hate both parties I wish somebody could also provide more detail into this

Guns are not the problem, choices are sage

Name another country as large with as high a population as America that isn't a terrible shithole full of terrible shitty people worse than Americans.

>muh massacres >muh celebrity news murder stories >something must be done Why does Russia continue to have nuclear weapons, after all Chernobyl.

drop the racism for once, please? I don't why you are so anal about this EU is technically a "country", checkmate
Matthew Miller
Fundamentally correct. We see gun violence as a human right. It's totally perverse. Expected responses from gun shills: >muh freedom >muh self-defense >muh niggers >muh american revolution
Pro-tip: all pro-gun arguments are either centuries out of date, wrong, or blatantly racist.

Look into the rise of the welfare state in the 60s which literally had people going to black inner city homes and offering money to single mothers. This happened so much the idea of separating fathers from families grew in inner cities and kids grew up fatherless left to their own devices and being "raised" by children who were only a few years older than them.
Also look up the rise of the "everyones a winner" mentality which never helped children how to cope with losing like how real life actually is and many lashed out in unhealthy ways.

>whiny and wrong good combo

>muh niggers >Implying banning niggers wouldn't be more effective than banning guns
you describe the system that barely enables families to survive poor people can have kids, are you seriously offended by this? why it should be a privilege? the state should obviously give more in your example
everyone's will be a winner if we don't have capitalism that literally pits people against one another
Massive strawman in the first one. The system isn't good. Before that system was put into place black families had a larger percentage of staying together than white families. Yes, the system was designed to help people but it only made matters worse in those areas. And the idea that we should pump more money into it when we have year over year and have provided little solution proves the experiment was a failure. You cant put a bandaid on something that requires stitches and expect the blood to stop
And capitalism doesnt pit people one against the other. Capitalism uses voluntarism to take advantage of the natural human condition.
I thought we were going to have a decent discussion but whew buddy youre way out of your league on this one with reciting your Vox article rhetoric.

maine doesnt :^)

>Trump's daddy Go back and never return here with such faggotry ever again
Switzerland has even more guns and I can't remember a single case of mass shooting there. Average kid will not just go and commit murder-suicide. It has everything to do with things they do to children to mentally damage them for life, like infant dick mangling, medication with (((antidepressants))), amerimongrel kike "culture" and fuckton of other shit like vaccines with suspicious side effects. Also most of shootings media screams about is CIA nigger psy ops to disarm goyim.
Josiah Brooks
And yet, this is a recent phenomenon in a country where the people have always owned firearms. Could it be perhaps that guns are inanimate objects and certain people are the problem?
OP's numbers are oddly precise. Either really dedicated or a complete bullshitter.

>Before that system was put into place black families had a larger percentage of staying together than white families so, they literally couldn't live their own lives? how is this great? also, you would rather be a black person in pre-60s America? damn >You cant put a bandaid on something that requires stitches and expect the blood to stop you can also give the whole medkit >And capitalism doesnt pit people one against the other. Capitalism uses voluntarism to take advantage of the natural human condition. public means of production also need voluntarism >Vox article rhetoric. ????? they're fucking capitalists
>certain people are the problem the white ones
Oliver Myers
>you describe the system that barely enables families to survive >poor people can have kids, are you seriously offended by this? why it should be a privilege? the state should obviously give more in your example
I think this perfectly sums up the liberal/conservative dichotomy on this and in many policies. It's certainly a kind thought to say "these women and kids need us, we should double down and give more if there's more single motherhood," but it's also a stupid one. If we look back into history it's very clear to see that the removal of the black father from his family was accomplished primarily by this kind of giving. What people thought was "women without a breadwinner man in the house will have it harder, so we should give them more money," but what they didn't think about is that they were incentivizing black women to not have men in the house, and going by the statistics it's much better to grow up poor than grow up with a single mom.
Welfare probably did have the best of intentions, but good intentions didn't make good actions here, and now we're stuck in a bind, because in order to do the right thing we have to be cruel. We have to cut back the welfare. This is the one main thing that will drive black women back into the arms of their men and restore their families. But no politician can run on a platform of "I'm going to take things away from poverty-stricken vulnerable people so that they'll get their shit together."

Hilldawg, it's time to put down the ipad, stop shitposting, and settle down for your mid morning nap and infant blood infusion
What’s a cronut and why do you fags wait 2 goes to get one
Brayden Wright
It's a nigger problem. A multicultural problem. A globalist problem. Take 6% of our population out of the equation, black men, and 50% of gun murders disappear.
