The nukes that hit japan were less destructive than firebombing, like the fire bombing of Dresden. The Japanese cities were made of wood so they burned down much more easily. the german cities are made of stone, and so trhe nukes wouldn't have done much damage. but they would have made people more sympathetic to the germans after the war. So actually yes the nukes would probably have been better for germany long term.
