Just because women are safer drivers doesn’t make them better drivers. My mom won’t drive over 45 mph, only makes right turns and can’t parallel park.

It's the same argument as Flying in Aircraft is safer than driving a car. Through the nature of driving jobs, men are more often than not on driving vehicles than women. Thus it would be natural to assume the get into more accidents.

I'd also assume from a behavioural stand point, men get into large crashes due to recklessness and bravado, while women get into far more low speed due to their generally lower spatial awareness.

Insurance companies have money on the line when they insure drivers therefore they won't manipulate data toward a biased result. That means when an insurance company decides women should be charged more than men in the same age ranges and driving the same make and model of vehicles then there must be a reason and it isn't sexism because they would entice women with lower rates if they could they just know they would lose money if they did.

When I go for a run through an urban area and come across a male driver in an intersection it will be clear from the start if they are going to let me pass or not. Women on the other hand will slow down then speed up all of sudden then suddenly break and you can see in their faces they don't know what the fuck they want to do.
Now, you could argue they are asking me, the man, for instructions. But a female friend of mine noticed the same pattern (she was angry with me when I first pointed it out, but eventually came to accept the truth as she couldn't unsee it anymore)
