For a long time now I've had a very deep yearning to achieve greatness in my lifetime. I feel it so deeply within me. Everytime I meditate, listen to music or read a quote from great men throughout history I get the feeling. It brings a tear to my eye often. I know that I must and I will do something that will be for the good.
My problem is that I do not know what the good is. I know it's not for just achieving my self-interest. I know it is for other people.
The problem is what people is my yearning for greatness for? Is it for the White Race? Is it for All Humanity? In the name of National Socialism? In the name of Communism? I don't know!
What is the right path and how could it be justified to me. My mind tortures with the fact that I don't know anything to be absolute. Therefore what is the good I should strive for without me knowing the absolutes that dictate "good."
Why should I care about my race? Besides a state working better due to ethnocentricity, why should I care about the racial character of those I share a kinship with? Or, why should I care about any people at all?! I need a justification!
Should I base it off of my Theological standpoint? But what could justify the different religions to me? I have a deep feeling that I know God exists. But which one? Should I believe in the Christian god that I was raised with, or should I believe in the pagan religion that came from my European ancestors?
I've read pagan texts, I've read the Bible, I've read Mein Kampf, I've read Marx. What should I believe. I don't want to see any of you dumb faggots either say God doesn't exist or to just say your ideology is better because you feel like it.
I am in a similar boat as OP. I understand and appreciate from an abstract level that it would be a shame on equal or greater proportions if the white race was gone, as would be a shame if Japanese were gone. It is already a shame that the culture and people called the Native Americans are gone. But should I fight for this? Should I devote energy to the saving of my race? Is it all worth it? I feel complicit if I abandon responsibility.

I always like to use the story of Tyr and Fenrir from old Norse mythology to try to explain why self-sacrifice is important. Not necessarily the violent kind, but the sort where you're giving something up for the greater good. The Norse god Tyr ends up losing his hand in the mouth of a giant wolf to save mankind. We see these sorts of selfless acts echoed again in the Bible, where Christ allows himself to be sold out and nailed to a cross to carry the sins of man.

They are real people with real convictions and those ideas take a back seat to the real humanity that you will never see anywhere else in your life, at least in my experience. Long story short, nothing will give you purpose until you take real risks. I don't mean to say that you should do anything stupid or illegal, just giving your time or money can be enough, but only through giving something of yourself will you find satisfaction.
