They almost didn't. Ironically, if it weren't for the British Empire, Islamic conquest into India would have likely continued up until the present day. The British breaking the back of the traditional Islamic authorities in the region, and subsequently propping up the Hindus as part of the British Empire to keep said Muslims from regaining power, is part of what kept Hinduism alive.
Abrahamic religions have only ever been spread by conquest or from political power converting in a top-down manner. China and Japan both had political power structures in place when they met with Abrahamism, and in both cases Abrahamism introduced itself as little more than a front for dissidents to come in and try to knock down the traditional power structures and replace them with those run by dissidents. In both cases, the traditional (non-Abrahamic) power structures just eradicated the Abrahamics. Abrahamism has no special power behind it other than just coincidentally being the religious background of the most powerful political forces on the planet.

A lot of the Traditional truth has been retained, but "Hinduism" is basically Aryan religion mixed with Dravidian superstition. The brown people follow the most primitive forms, while the whitest follow proper spirituality. This kind of happened everywhere. The Muslim Sufis are extremely greenpilled; and China's syncretic religion allows all kinds of stuff to pass through. Though, of course, the Chinese mostly care about the parts on social order. I don't mean to D&C, but Christianity is virtually the only religion with no mystic sect. They had the Cathars, but they killed them off. They do still have some mystics, but they're the sort of people that would be mystics no matter what, and happened to be influenced by Christianity. It many cases Christianity ended up being bad for them because it caused all sorts of internal conflictions. Hermann Hesse is a pretty good example of this.

Partially correct. The upper castes of Kings and priests were definitely northern, Aryan warriors who came down and conquered the subcontinent. They forbid Aryan women from marrying the locals but had no laws preventing the taking concubines and wives from among the locals. The only usurpation that occured was that eventually the ancient Aryans diluted themselves into the great teeming masses of the native population through intermarriage over centuries like pic related here.
