The liberals won, unfortunately, and for whatever reason have now taken to calling themselves communist

They understood that after the capitalist class was deposed a new normal had to be created
So Soviet culture quickly developed something akin to western morality to combat degeneracy
Meanwhile to combat communism the west became fully degenerate
Communism from the 20s to the 60s and early 70s was peak comfy, and hopefully one day makes a return

Leftists ALWAYS forget to mention that the much of these "jobs" were only "jobs" on paper, but the workers were mostly either doing nothing during their "work" or producing nothing of value.

I guess it's also worth pointing out that Communism isn't devised in inherent reference to traditionalist ideals, those are and were at the time, expressions of old traditionalist thought that were retained in most countries during the transitional period of the 20th century. The Soviet Union and its adherence to traditionalist ideals (which even then, are drastically overstated for agitprop) were not "Communism's display of trad thought" they were "Communism economics applied to a country with some social traditionalism left over". That is why Communists of today can adhere to Marx's economic notions while still being degenerate clown-dick sucking freaks.
Fascism considers itself a third position due in large part to the fact that is not just a traditionally economic or traditionally social model, but an entire philosophy concerning all walks of life. And unlike Communism, whose economic theory now is just in-group cooperation overexpanded to arenas it cannot be maintained in (ie literally what progs do concerning racial unity), the cozy trad village ideal that Fascist thought invokes can actually work IRL.

there were a lot of other factors but the flat truth is that once the central authority let up a little, people got out of the soviet union as fast as they could
