They are part of a larger group of bands that made it big through "Satanic Pizzerias" -- like the Apes, Heavy Breathing, Kid Congo at Comet, and FIDLAR and Meatbodies at Purgatory Pizza. Father John Misty's "Sally Hatchet" video is a nod to the pizza gang at Purgatory.
