So, why would NASA and the government go through the trouble to create fake, bullshit videos and interviews when they could just stick to always having real ones?

I'll explain this once for this board. Do you know where the ISS is? It's in space. Do you think there are any wires connecting the ISS to Earth? No, of course not. That means the data is transmitted wirelessly. Okay so? When packets travel wirelessly you may drop packets along the way. When you see these artifacts and strange things in the ISS videos this is the reason why. The ISS is fucking far away and data is traveling from space to Earth. The Earth is not flat and space exists and these threads are dumb as fuck.

No, I am not. There are some videos, such as the one I linked to, which show very real footage of people on the ISS. Its clearly not being simulated in a 0G plane dive because its 50 minutes long, and there isnt a harness as the move freely throughout the station.
My issue, is there are other videos where people are pretending to be aboard the ISS and they are clearly wearing harnesses, etc.
Why create faked videos when you don't need to?

You do realise that there is almost no air there so there is no effective way for that heat to transfer even if they were all in the thermosphere.
The only thing that could transfer that much heat is direct sunlight and there's a reason why satellites are wrapped in that gold foil.
