Language =! DNA. There are lots of political and cultural reasons for peoples speaking a certain language and that does not mean they are genetically if that group. Hungarians have a very small amount of Magyar admixture. They are much more genetically close to their surrounding Slavs. They embrace the Magyar crap for political identity, but it’s really just the language that is Finno-Ugric while the people themselves are a high Slav admixture group. Same thing for Bulgarians. They aren’t Bulgars. A minor ruling elite were actual Bulgars. Bulgarian isn’t even a Turkic language that the real Bulgars spoke. It’s just the name that stuck onto the actual Slavic people who are actually a mixture of Slav, Thracian, and Indiginous European (roughly thirds with other small amounts from elsewhere). It’s just a tradition that stuck and politics like Communists using it for propaganda. Don’t get me started on Macedonians (who actually do have Thracian/Illyrian admixture, but are also heavily Slavic).
DNA studies are going to give us a much better understanding of how intertwined the European community actually is. Everyone is actually different flavors of the same European soup. You’re nationalism is a recent phenomenon. You should instead be embracing the European nationalism of your blood. “White” is shorthand for that, but we know it’s European and we know that the cvarious European populations share much overlap, more than they’d admit. Bavarian’s may not want to admit their Slavic admixture, but it’s there and it’s significant. Can’t really call a Slav subhuman if the very concept of a Bavarian itself is a mutt of German and Slav.
