yeah there's a lot of us GATE folks here, how long ago where you in this program? I was in it the mid 80s. I have heard that the symptoms of hearing noises is common with ex-GATErs though I don't suffer from it myself.

I didn't hear any static until june/july of 2015. Only one ear and sometimes it's there, not there, subtle, or loud. But again a nigger screamed at the top of his lungs into that same ear.

The static has been here for countless years, but it really ramped up in the last few. I have really odd cognitive properities. I still scored 770 on a GMAT test, but that is with corrections.

The biggest thing is the inability to even type normally. I can't type complete sentences easily unless I have had a few drinks. Literally. I go from dyslexic as fuck, to a functioning normie, but even then my brain craves alcohol. And not all of my maths were made while drunk, but a substantial portion were. My head is screwy. And I know someone fucked with it.

Yeah, I think my drinking is literally a correction to what they did to my head. Because even after nearly a fifth of vodka I can type easier than sober for six months.

It's stress. I have this noise more when I'm stressing over something. Usually if I'm really stressed and it's loud, a really good sleep will make it go away or reduce the intensity. But a wierd thing occurred one night when I started reading the bible and heard a tone for 2 or 3 seconds.

You can cover the walls in aluminum insect screening (like in a screen door) and block most of the microwave frequencies. It isn't perfect , but gets rid of the vast majority of the signal. Might buy you some breathing room.
