Economic FACTS beating alt-right FEELS

Dear Trumptards, facts don't care about your feelings.

The Center for Immigration Studies (an anti-immigration think tank) estimates that the effect of USA migration is "In short, the winners from immigration gain $594 billion and the losers lose $531 billion, for a net gain for $63 billion". The winners in this estimate are business while the losers are native-born workers.

Now let’s look at the Trump corporate tax cuts. They benefit companies and high income earners to the tune of $2.3 trillion over 10 years or about $230 billion a year. That’s nearly HALF the amount transferred from workers to capital from all immigration in the past 70 years, as estimated by the CIS. And, of course, Trump’s tax cuts come on top of a string of tax cuts and other policies all of which have harmed labor and helped capital.

Again, let me repeat that: A single tax cut has done more to harm to native American workers than almost HALF of ALL immigration that has occurred since the passing the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965

On the other side of the coin, suppose that Trump succeeded in deporting all undocumented workers and banning new immigration altogether. About 20% of non-native USA workers are undocumented and legal immigration (around one million per year) is equal to about 1.3% of the current non-native population (around 60 million). Relying on the CIS estimates, it would take 20 years of such draconian policies just to offset the Trump tax cuts.

In practice, nothing like that is likely to happen. Anyone who voted for Trump on the basis of economic concerns about migration, or globalization more generally, has been taken for a ride.

No. Because the tax cuts made it more affordable to do business here.
This increases demand for labor.
So labor costs go up.
You are looking at government income and gdp as if this helps the average American.

That is theory.
Reality is wages are going up for the first time in decades.

Shouldn't you be happy, Schlomo? Also, wage growth is the highest it's been in more than a decade and manufacturing is actually growing after being gutted by Obama and Bush.

>Jew
>Being sincere

Business investment has been trending downwards for decades, despite the Reagan and Clinton and Bush and Trump tax cuts. Whatever rises CAN be seen from supply-side policy shocks, they are minuscule compared to the scale of the cuts, and have been less noticeable with every subsequent cut.

And this is bullshit. American wage growth is still sporadic and slow and nowhere near productivity growth rate. To say it's "the highest it's been in more than a decade" is both not true (the highest growth rate was in 2015) and insincere, since the past decade was spent in the long shadow of the Great Recession.

>Jewish graph tricks
The total percentage as a portion of GDP doesn't mean they are less in an absolute value, not that I expect you to grasp this, Chaim. The economy at present has been the best it's been since said Recession, and it has been without artificially pumping up the economy with stimulus programs.

Dear kikes, the reason you’ve been kicked out of other people’s land on 109 occasions is because you’re vermin. Example; this thread

>facts don’t care about your feelings

Like Jews are vermin? Or that the kikes will never demand open borders for Israel? Or that shitskins are vermin and need to be exterminated for all the damage they’ve done and only a retard or a kike could possibly think mass immigration would be a good thing

>The total percentage as a portion of GDP doesn't mean they are less in an absolute value
Of course it doesn't, but things like business investment need to be measured as percentage of GDP, otherwise it's meaningless. Your entire point is that the tax cuts created an increase in investment (which, even when looking at absolute numbers, they didn't), thus creating a higher demand for labor. This "higher demand for labor" can only occur if the (nonexistent) increases in investment have major impact on the wider economy.

>The economy at present has been the best it's been since said Recession
Well no shit. We went through a massive recession! The biggest the world has seen since the 1930's! Literally any improvement or "return to normalcy" would be "the best the economy has been". You should be comparing the economy not the dog years of 2009-2011, but to how it was before the financial crisis. Better yet, compare it with its potential productive capacity, or more concrete indicators like worker compensation as % of GDP. As it stands right now, all around the developed world but in the USA in particular, economies are still experiencing major slack and labor participation rates are at all-time lows. Harmful trends that dominated since the 1970's have not reversed, and have only been exacerbated.

>and it has been without artificially pumping up the economy with stimulus programs
Interest rates are still at near-zero, and in the EU the ECB is pumping out round after round of QE.

literally triggered

You've won me over jew, open borders for Israel!

Where'd you go jew?

Immigration is about culture, not economics, and tax money isn't used for our benefit.

The most hilarious thing about recent shilling is how jews are now trying to drain support from Trump by being openly antisemitic.

>winners from immigration gain $594 billion
Lolno

>FACTS
>From a think tank
>Not opinions and at best educated guesses

>$230 billion
Also this is more than $63 billion per year. So how are the cuts worse?

You can do better than just read the first sentence, retards.

>business get tax cuts
>they keep more than what is allegedly the amount of money kept from workers from immigration
>economics is now a zero sum game aparently
Knowledge doesn’t cure stupid senpai

When a government taxes a business, it provides that amount back to the workers in the form of government services and benefits (excluding debt repayment and defense expenses).

Our govt? Ha, it mostly goes to gibs, deficit payoff, and the scam of social security. Most govt services are absolutely worthless.

wtf i like anti-white international capitalists posing as socialists now
