China is actually improving Africa, unlike the Europeans. The thing you have to realize that the Chinese are indiscriminatedly feared and hated by almost every group, even other Asians. They actually learn and see the policies of the past, so they are doing a different approach of colonization. It will benefit both groups, to the detriment of Europeans. Africa has alot of resources needed for everyday life.

Remember that the scramble for Africa wasn't for nothing. Once the Africans are fully aligned with China (By extension the East, no long the West) things will get really more fucky. Mark my words.

let me tell you what china does and has done in several countries, i have seen their 'cities' in vietnam and laos.

They start with some factories or in nicer areas, casinos and resorts focused 95% on chinese tourists.

They do this in areas where they can pay off local gov easily, and then ship in all their own construction workers and staff, hiring very very few, if any at all, locals.

They buy up more land around and continue the advancement, then before you know it they have a whole chinatown.

Then they stop serving locals.

These places have investment from the china gov of course but they are kept afload by discounted group tourism from their billions of citizens. Casino fun trips basically from the huge new middle class in china.

In the casino towns especially, these quickly turn to ghettos as the chinese who are targeted to come for these cheap trips are middle class, but they are dumb and often use all there money and over stay with no way to get back.

So chinese gangs pop up and start to fuck over the area even more, holding other chinese hostage for cash to get themselves back to china.

Back to the factories. They only employ locals for the REALLY remedial shit. They ship in their own workers, build apartmentblocks for just their workers etc etc. As long as its a place they can pay off the local officials they can get away with it, which is why they see africa as such a good deal.

When the locals eventually 'rise up', they will just move their workers to another factory elsewhere or they will just build up a mini china city around it and keep it chinese only.

You really have to look at WHY China succeeded the way it did, and that was because the Chinese WANTED to work hard to earn money for their families. For example, 90% of the menial labor in China is migrant labor. Rural people come to work 18 hours a day because they can send money back to their families. Young people are able to leave their kids with the grandparents, so that they could go work in the factories and earn 10x what they could on the farm. In Africa, you don't have strong family structures like china because everyone died of some bush disease or an AK47. Also, Africans can't stop fighting each other for like 5min in order to have a stable government and even when governments are stable, some politician just raids public funds.

An eye opening revelation for me was that when Chinese factories, under pressure from SJWs in the US, tried to implement daily work limits, workers were PISSED. That's because most factory workers are migrants and they come to the factories to earn as much as possible in as LITTLE time as possible so they can go back home. They aren't trying to be lifetime factory workers. It's this weird little anomaly that people overlook.

The bottom line is that there a fuckload of natural resources in Africa, but the conditions are not right for labor to be succesful.
