This. People acting individually, having no common cause, got taken over by collectivists of all sorts. The first ones being of good ole friends that opened the gates with the immigration reform to bring more puppets.

My guess is pretty bad. They're self-destructing.
First they start banning their most notorious content creators for nothing.
Then they decided to destroy everything that was fun about the game.
And finally they sided with the SJW culture and introduced politics in their game by changing lore, making straight characters gay or dull and generic, promoting diversity programs and language policing within the company, putting a rainbow in their logo, etc.

I think they realized they messed up so much with the game that they predicted its imminent downfall so now they're trying to cash out by sponsorizing everything and probably getting funds from private interests to implement those programs.
