Im not a commie or anything. But I feel capitalism is beating me down.
>get student loan >go to college where rent is $3k a month because of jews (split with roommate, doesn't help much) >get out of college with crippling student debt >find an entry level job because no experience >pays shit, doesn't raise wage. >rent keeps going up >landlord rubs it in my face by collecting my rent money in his Lamborghini >most money goes to rent, student loans, internet/phone. Almost nothing left to save and invest. >realize this is my life for the next 20 years. >contemplate suicide
Shit, no wonder the average person hates capitalism and wants complete communism. I hate socialism but even I cant defend this.
don't live in a liberal ran state. rent won't be a high and taxes aren't as high either
Alexander Ortiz
i dont. I live in FL
Nicholas Ramirez
Avoiding this issue doesn't fix it.
Isaiah Murphy
You went to college in the most expensive way possible. You apparently did not work summers before or during college to collect experience. You are a lazy shit. You fucked yourself and have only yourself to blame.
William Richardson
This isnt the 1970s bro. Working in the summer wouldn't do shit to the total tuition bill.
Daniel Nelson
But it would give you work experience, you hapless boob. You not having any work experience when you graduate is 100% due to you being lazy, coddled or both.
Henry Gutierrez
The reason why communism didn't work is because the people were not ready for it and reacted by electing a monarch to control them. At this point in time, capitalist pigs have hierarchy and money programmed into their dna and should all be exterminated from the gene pool.
Hudson Hughes
I have work experience. I worked plenty min wage job. That doesn't matter. You need to have experience in the particular job field to achieve higher pay.
Xavier Hernandez
What's your field?
Tyler Harris
Software engineering
Jason Smith
When you started college you were under the impression that the day you graduate you would be able to make lots o' money doing that?
Connor Hughes
Yes, everyone said thats where the money was. I kept reading posts all over the internet about new grads making over $80k
Kevin Smith
Start your own business faggot
Adrian Robinson
What was your GPA and write me a function to reverse a linked list in C++ with a pointer to struct named op_faggot so I know you are not full of shit?
Alexander Morgan
Right. So tell me with what money?
Kevin Adams
lol I remember my twenties too, making money but not having any due to loans. Weirdly enough after 10 years I only just started earning (and saving) real money. Some people are just better off I guess
William Bailey
You retard you do not even need startup capital for software. Literally get off pol and start programming
Evan Diaz
Look your stupid bait thread wont work.
And if it must bait you fucked up by going to college at the worst time possible and in the most retarded way possible.
Capitalism hasn't fucked you, you fucked yourself you stupid child. Take responsibility for your actions and find a way out of it.
Eli Flores
> It's called CAPITALism > You don't have capital Enjoy shitty life.
Meanwhile, a rich merchant is putting his capital to work for him and gets even more capital without moving a finger :-)
Luke Campbell
>everyone said thats where the money was. I kept reading posts all over the internet about new grads making over $80k Who is "everyone", specifically?
Ryan Wilson
Save 10% of all the income you make, put it in a saving account, and every tree months take the money out a buy Vanguard Total Index (VTI or VUN in Canada). Even with a moderate salary you will be rich over time if you just do this.
I started at 16 and am 30 now and have almost 1 million saved. I also put away more than 10% when I could but nothing outrageous
>get student loan Stopped reading there. Its your own goddamned fault. If you cant afford a loan dont take one.
Wyatt Martin
everyone is getting beaten down to their rightful place, beaten into submission. Capitalism is fascism
Jack Richardson
You should of read the posts over the internet that said the Trades are making a lot of money.
Trade school is where the money is at.
Connor Sullivan
who can afford an $80k loan at 18 unless you have rich parents?
Hunter Evans
So, what's your job? Do you live in Tampa Bay?
Owen Lopez
Look you got fucked by the system, no doubt. But ultimately, its your fault by signing onto those loans.
I personally was in a similar situation where I was prepared to sign onto 90k in loans for a degree, but I panicked at the idea and decided to no go to that college.
Also your grievances should not be with capitalism, but with the US college system and its cronnies: college professors, high school guidance counselors, deans of colleges, the bankers, etc.
Connor Cook
Kek, enjoy your life mutt. So glad I live in Europe. You faggots can keep larping about muh capitalism while secretly you're tired of it.
Brandon Harris
>>get student loan
I can already dismiss your story from here. Whatever the rest of the story is, the fuck up rests squarely on you at this point.
Ryan Mitchell
Usury is a sin/haram. It's a very Jewish thing. We need to abolish it. The last leader of a country that did that took his country from a morally and financially bankrupt joke to the most powerful nation on Earth. It took the top three countries on the planet to defeat them.
You can make a killing in software if you are not a sperg. Since so many comp si students are complete anti social if you have any social skills and are technically skilled you get ushered to sales and management quickly.
Comp E here that works in DSP
Justin Foster
Capitalism isn't beating your ass, your own decisions are
>Chose to get a student loan instead of working hard and saving money for a few years and going to college later (you don't HAVE to go to college at 18 -- you can go when you're 25 or even 30) >Chose to go to a college where the rent was $3k (there are colleges in smaller towns or other states where rent is $500-700) >See points 1 and 2 >If you're getting an "entry level job" it means you didn't get a meaningful degree. I got a computer engineering degree and my first job started at $64k per year (pre-tax). If you're making less than $20 an hour with a college degree, your degree is a piece of shit >See above. You shouldn't have gotten a women's studies degree >Move away. You're not going to college anymore, why are you still paying $3k for rent? >Don't hate people for their success. Hate people for their failure. >Move to somewhere with cheaper rent, get a better job >Stop being a faggot >DO IT FAGGOT
Jackson Nguyen
Not in the US. Its indentured servitude for those with student loans.
Luis Smith
>>go to college this is were you fucked up
William Diaz
If you work for fake fiat currency that can be printed on an unlimited basis with no restriction, you are a commie. We are all commies. Our nations are communist, because the currency and its value is managed by a central authority that affects everyone who uses it - ie. the collective.
Bank bailouts corporate subsidies welfare social housing Interventionism stock buybacks fiat currency central banking too big to fail World Bank International Monetary Fund
arent "capitalism". If capital can be created at will its not capital. All those things listed affect the purchasing power of ALL the currency in circulation - it affects the collective.
OP is lying. If you have a decent degree in comp si or software engineering, have a >3.2 GPA, and did a co-op/internship you would have zero issue getting a job
Carson Lee
No one said summer work would pay your tuition. They said it'd give you work experience. You said you had no experience. That's your own fucking fault for being so entitled you thought you wouldn't need to get a job until after college. I got my first job when I was 16 (the youngest you can legally work in my state) -- I worked evenings after high school. I had a full time job WHILE going to college, and in the summer I made extra money doing odd jobs.
I'll bet you just smoked weed and went to frat parties.
Hunter Garcia
you aren't responding to the market.
>can't afford rent. you're free to find cheaper in a new place. I'm living a few hundred miles from you in Tuscaloosa Alabama. My rent is $400 and my wage is generous for the cost of living. Capitalism allows the freedom to escape you are just choosing not to. Who told you to pay your loans anyway? You don't have to pay a dime on that shit. there are other ways to live outside of credit.
Joshua Brown
They dont care about your GPA, stupid. They never asked me or anyone in my department.
Daniel Russell
>Gets a loan you are unable to default on.
>Goes to a university who's prices have hyper-inflated due to a central banking system injecting it with "free" money
>Still think you live in a capitalist society.
The US is a socialist country, user. Capitalism cannot exist with the existence of a state.
Matthew Bailey
ITT Jow Forums defends the Jewish system that's screwing over young white men making them unattractive to women and not reproduce
Connor Morales
Who are the they you are talking about? Companies absolutely care about your GPA in-so-far as it is above their internal threshold. If you are above 3.2 and for the big boys 3.5 you can easily get a job
Colton Morales
>Im not a commie or anything >*breathes in* >BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT
Been though dozens of interviews, never been asked about my GPA
Jayden Rivera
OP is a heterosexual. All these faggots are COPING because the system is INDEFENSIBLE unless you're the cunt collecting rents.
Sebastian Morgan
The US really have been a mistake.
Adrian Miller
But then again the anglo as well...
Hunter Baker
Stop lying you faggot. You didn't make a million with your "pennies a day" head ass
Cooper Perry
The problem isn't capitalism it's the banks and corporations that capitalism consists of. The problem wasn't communism, it was all those guys with guns enforcing Stalin's policy. Kill yourself retard
Aiden Miller
What is compound interest and how does that work?
Christian Watson
Lol this
Leo Morris
If you are getting interviews but no offers that should tell you something. Obviously they can see that you are a faggot
Mason White
>FLA >not liberal run
Brandon Carter
Yeah, if any of that is true, that is indefensible.
Howver I think socialism right now would make everything worse for everybody.
Ryder Hill
You fucked up. Rich children from rich parents go to nice colleges, party all the time and pick a career and degree they want. Poor kids from poor families like you and I, are guided into trade fields or degrees with guaranteed jobs out of the gate. I went into a trade field, got my first job at 21 starting at $42K, ten years later I'm making over $82K. Life isn't perfect, it's harsh and there will always be richer people around you that had an easy time, from the get go. That isn't white privilege, that's life.
Deal with it faggot. Switch to a trade school or trade degree and become entirely self dependent by 20. Stop asking for hand outs you piece of shit.
Brayden Gray
>work experience yeah working at a gas station for 6 months really helps with work experience for your criminal justice degree. i swear you larping autists dont think when you post.
He's a software engineer you mindless shill. Everybody was sold the STEM meme and were promised almost guaranteed lucrative work. It's a lie created by capital. All you knee jerk McCarthy faggots are quick to defend this barbaric system cause you think the only way out is a communist revolution. In a way you're the fucking communists
Kevin Gomez
everyone on Jow Forums says theyre 30+ years old making 6+ figures a year with 250k+ in savings. in reality most of you are in your teens to 20s, have shit jobs and like to play make believe all day. go fuck yourself.
Carson White
>not getting an internship while I’m college >not being recruited to have a job waiting for you as soon as you graduate You did it wrong and that’s why you fail. Uni is not extended secondary school to where all you have to do is just show up and make a grade, have to get involved as well as market yourself to employers. Otherwise, enjoy your paper getting thrown in the “No experience” pile with everyone else’s that did the minimum university experience. I can see why they want experience before graduation, my first internship for accounting was a complete dud; I knew everything I learned from the books extremely well but as soon as you land on the floor with no fucking clue, you’re automatically a liability.
>Being this stupid Free markets created monopolies that control the state
Jose Murphy
>criminal justice degree
lol people who get criminal justice degrees are some of the most deranged people I've ever met. "I'm going to be a lawyer someday" is what I hear, "I'll drop out of law school within the first month," is what happens.
Wyatt Cooper
DESU you should have joined your state's Army or Air National Guard. They usually pay 100% tuition to any state-funded school, and you get the GI Bill every month on top of that (I got the +kicker so I got $550 a month while in college).
I have been out of college 8 months now and have zero student debt, $40,000 in the bank, and $12,000 in stocks. Just a couple more months on my military contract and I'm out.
William Reed
When my dad went to college it was a few hundred dollars a year. He paid for medical school by working as a lifeguard during the summer. A simple laborer made enough money for a nice suburban house, 2 cars bought with cash, and could support a wife and kids with vacations on his salary alone.
The reason that has changed is not capitalism, but socialism. I'm not going to spend the time to explain all the factors that have resulted in this change, but if you aren't a retard you can research and figure it out on your own.
Brandon Morris
Not sure why it said "DESU", meant to be "desu"
David James
Basically this. Replace Jewish with oligarchic and white men with fucking everybody and you'll start to grasp how bad it really is
Gabriel Allen
What is LARPing and why haven't you killed yourself?
Elijah Davis
6 months at a gas station makes you more qualified for most jobs than your degree does
Hudson Reyes
>do five-year stint in the Navy >make good money and enjoy seeing parts of the world people can't even point out on a map >obtain Associate's while in the military >finish contract under honorable discharge >use GI Bill to earn BA cum laude or better >go to law school >finish law school with next to no debt >land $80k with benefits job at a nationally recognized firm
Feels good man.
Anyone who goes the traditional route of going to college right out of high school is fucking stupid but serves as premier example of what not to do in life
Michael Russell
The college system in America is not entirely a free-market capitalist system. For one thing, the government has heavily inflated the demand by issuing out government backed student loans. This is honestly the biggest reason why college is so expensive and a rip off in the first place (Artificial increase in supply of loans --> increases demand for college --> increased price of college). Furthermore, the government prevents most people from declaring bankruptcy on their loans. Therefore, the bankers see it was literally free money they get because the loans have virtually no risk.
This is not how free-markets are suppose to work. Its too much government intervention.
By the way, there isn't really any modern economic system that uses a pure bred capitalist system or communist system. Its all mixed markets.
Government subsidized student loans were a fucking mistake and clearly a ploy to ensnare people in a debt trap
Cameron Long
You were supposed to get an internship/etc related to your field in-between school years. Why would you get a minimum wage job in something completely unrelated to your degree?
Ethan Johnson
>rent is $3k The fuck? I live downtown in a medium sized city in a luxury apartment and rent is not even 1k.
Kayden Peterson
>Coping this hard >Happy to live in an oligarchy You're cattle
Connor Mitchell
Seconded. Worked two years around the world before going to school, wish I'd gone military though. Godspeed brother
Christian Jenkins
It's what you make of it. I knew people who didn't do a goddamn thing while in the military and merely glided by, eventually making rank when the time was right. I wasn't content with that so I volunteered for deployments and other shit. A big benefit is that, with your command's approval, you can attend college courses while enlisted and they'll provide tuition assistance up to a certain amount.
Also, Bahrain isn't a bad place to be stationed so long as you don't get drunk in public and pick fights with the locals
John Martinez
in this day and age the military is the best way to go. im going to the airforce for 8 years after i finish welding school. gonna try to save $60k minimum and invest that when i get out. fuck uni, the military will PAY YOU to learn whatever job youbwant to do and then yiu have experience for the civillian sector.
Christopher Harris
>capitalism sucks because I can't do it right
get gud idiot
Jayden White
> go to govt College on govt loan to study useless major >live in property taxes, rent controlled, and govt zoned property >work a part time job and get taxed by a dozen different govt entities >get paid in govt controlled and devalued currency >be poor >blame capitalism
Hmm.
Dominic King
The absolute state of capitalist shill jew-gelt worshippers. Capitalism in its current form is beyond laughable, anyone suggesting otherwise needs a trip to the showers.
It was capitalism you shill. Capital always seeks to lower wages and increase profit. It needs to expand. The social programs are always introduced to prevent revolutions after one of the inevitable crashes. There hasn't been any response to the 2008 great recession, most money is debt, and this system will collapse and fuck this country up the ass to infinity
Tyler Foster
Complaining about it rather then maneuvering around it or through it doesn’t help. You just waste time.
>realize this is my life for the next 20 years.
No one said anything about working for 20 years. Don’t get loans, buy a cheap apartment, walk to work, don’t buy alcohol, do not date anyone, find a talent and do YouTube with it, find a hobby you can sell (magic cards, coins).
Why the fuck is it that every time someone complains about life, they take what they have for granted and complain they have nothing at all. You have something, everyone does. The only difference between you and other people is whether or not you do anything with them.
I’ve seen people pull a will hunting and refuse a free ride to Harvard for mathematics simply because he wanted to do other things. He now complains to me that he’s working 9-5. I call him an idiot every time he brings it up now and he doesn’t deny it. Stop victimizing yourself with the system you use to hold yourself up, you fucking drive it.
Andrew Rivera
That’s from what I understand too, a lot of people spend almost their entire time stateside. I hate some of those faggots that do that and then claim the fought for their country when they start spreading their libshit about “I didn’t fight for my country for bigotry and racism!” Sounds like any fuck that actually got deployed wouldn’t sing that same tune while getting enrichment rounds and shells thrown their way
Wow, this reads like you've never had a full time job. Commies really can't fucking meme, at least write about something you know about dude.
Ayden Kelly
>(1/2) The key is you started at 16. This is just down to excellent planning. I worked summers in high school and blew my money on a computer to play video games. My parents didn't even let me get a credit card until I was done high school. You have discipline and knowledge most young-ish people don't (people don't invest 10% of their savings even out of university or college, they usually start saving for a downpayment on a house).
Either way there's a real problem with housing in places where you can find high-paying work easily all over North America. The obvious example is California but I've experienced this first hand both in Toronto and Ottawa. I moved from Toronto to be able to afford property since its now impossible in Toronto and (predictably) the property in Ottawa is jumping up insane amounts as well. I work as an engineer with what seems to be okay pay on paper in Canada for engineering but at the end of the day with my take home I still can't afford to buy a nice home or condo. Hell, I can't even afford to rent a nice apartment. I live in some ancient apt where I can't control the heat and its like 15C in the winters.
I can't compete with rich foreigners and TFW from California (we have an insane amount of them since the policy changes in the US; the US companies just send them here to work for their satellite offices instead of having them go back home, so they have an inflated California salary and savings where interns make more than staff engineers here, and you're competing with these people to buy property)
Austin Green
Private property is created by the state you fucking mong. That's what the English Civil Wars were fought over.
>There were, we may oversimplify, two revolutions in mid-seventeenth century England. The one which succeeded established the sacred rights of property (abolition of feudal tenures, no arbitrary taxation), gave political power to the propertied (sovereignty of Parliament and common law, abolition of prerogative courts), and removed all impediments to the triumph of the ideology of the men of property – the protestant ethic
Jackson Turner
>>get out of college with crippling student debt
>college >capitalism
In capitalism, when you buy something and it doesn't work, the business fails.
In socialism and communism, when you buy propaganda and it doesn't work, they double down on blaming you and make everyone else subsidize it. This is college now.
Trump is actually pushing apprenticeships where you would have a job right out of high school and learn on the job from the actual industry instead of paying tenured leftists for their gender studies views with your 200k tuition.
Easton Howard
>get student (((loans)))
Congratulations, you fell for the kikes scheme.
John Lee
The following things are not a result of capitalism >get student loan even if not from govt the loan size is ballooned by govt loans >go to college where rent is $3k a month because of jews Additionally because we inefficiently throw fucking everybody into already bloated institutions, which raises prices yugely. >rent keeps going up Zoning ordinances, continued govt loans pushing more and more students into the area. Section 8 housing. Govt backed housing loans which increase demand. >Almost nothing left to save and invest. 0 interest rates and higher prices from forceful govt subsidies to dysfunctional parts of society >realize this is my life for the next 20 years. That's just on you. Keep building skills.
Alexander Cruz
See and solve it so we know that you are not a massive faggot, aside from a communist that wants to offload his responsibility on the rest of us for your fuck-ups.
>tfw learning to code by myself >starting with javascript for webdesign >grand plan is to move to big data in 5-6 years
