Neo Nazis are delusional. America rejected that ideology 70 years ago when most white Americans didn't want to sit next to a black person on a bus. Yet modern Nazis think they are gonna make Americans suddenly morph into Nazis and fly the Swastika.
Political movements with 'neo' as a prefix usually denote attempts to revive that ideology, and since the Daily Stormer promotes fascism, white supremacism and anti-semitism, I think the neo-nazi label is quite accurate to describe the publication and the wider alt-right in general.
