In this thread, let's talk about all the things that the far-right and the far-left both hate. Get in here fellow centrists!
- Free Speech: The far-left wants to ban "hate speech". The far-right wants to ban anti-white speech. In other words, anyone who believes in free speech is shit out of luck in the modern political climate. - The Phrase "Sexy Black Bitches": The far-right hates it for "promoting race-mixing". The far-left hates it for being "degrading to women". - Video Games: They either promote misogyny or promote violence. - Heavy Metal: It either promotes violence or promotes misogyny. - Gangsta Rap: It either promotes sexism or is too black. - Porn: It either "promotes rape" or "will turn you gay". - Democracy: It's either bad because it gives white males a voice or because it gives everyone else a voice. - Science: It's either run by white males or run by Jews. - The Nordic Economic Model: It's either "communist" or "not communist enough", depending on who you ask. - Richard Dawkins: He's either bad for being an atheist or bad for being a white male who doesn't hate himself. - Freethought: It's either bad because it allows "problematic" thinking or because it allows "unbiblical" thinking. - Female Anti-Feminist YouTube Users: They are either bad for being anti-feminists or bad for being women with opinions. - SomeBlackGuy: He's either bad for being black or bad for being anti-SJW.
Basically, the far right (general fascism) and the far left (general Marxism) are not liberals, and thus do not care about the things liberals care about. They have significant differences with each other, FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVES, but because neither care about what liberals care about, those differences often look relatively unimportant from our perspective.
Zachary Gray
The major factor is that centrists are the only people who care about liberty nowadays, and science is impossible without liberty.
Kiddies, this is called consensus cracking. They are trying to rule your mind.
Jace Adams
>strawman Come back when you grow up.
Kayden Cox
Does anyone really give a shit about those rules? Ad Hominem is a logical fallacy and yet this board practically runs on Ad Hominem attacks. Pic related.
It's sort of always been like that. Really though, the left/right model is pretty bad when you're looking at this kind of scope. We should simply be analyzing things in terms of ideology. These are the liberals, these are the fascists, these are the Marxists, etc.
>centrism is middle ground The center is liberalism, not a middle ground between the far right and far left.
Joshua Torres
>If I want freedom, people are ruling my mind. War is peace! Freedom is slavery! Ignorance is strength!
Parker Gutierrez
t. dipshit Consensus cracking involves two positions. Three are being discussed.
And the most important pillar of liberalism - freedom of speech - is under constant assault from hypersensitive faggots.
I'm not using the word "faggot" to literally mean "homosexual" in this context.
Christopher Walker
the whole reason faggot means oversensitive, annoying, and attention seeking is because this is what gays are. You're a faggot.
Jaxson Sanders
If Israel is trying to censor the internet, I am against that as well.
Hunter Flores
Horse shoe theory is bullshit, because when you fully look into two "extremes" there are still extreme differences in goal of the outcome. I will concede the point that both sides appear to have the same idea, for instance, Gangsta Rap in OP, both sides want to do away with it, the left because it supports two things, owning women per say, and the "male fantasy" of power and respect. The right wants to get rid of it because it promotes degenerate behavior, and doesn't fit with the traditional culture. sure, both sides dislike it, but for wildly different reasons. The old "context is everything" rings true. some parts of far right politics hate nazi's because they were too authoritarian, some because they wrote laws along racial lines, yet at the end of the day, Nazi's were a fairly centerline party, not too rightwing, not too left either. more than anything, economically, the Nazi's too me seemed to be promoting welfare capitalism, where workers are given the aid they need by their employers, not the government. yet if you ask the right, they were commies, if you ask the left, they were Ultra-right fascists. Horse Shoe theory is a lie.
Gavin Mitchell
Many homosexuals keep their homosexuality a secret from their co-workers, so you are wrong.
If we were to judge every single group of people by its loudest members, EVERYONE would be a hypersensitive attention seeker, including white males.
Kayden Torres
Let's not mistake what Liberalism really means. The leftists hijacked the term along with Democracy and others. I propose we don't call the Leftists, Liberals. They're far from it, proven by the censorship they're for.
Jow Forums does not save stupid fucking images like this in the first place, because he knows to fucking lurk. >Nigger music in OP, both sides want to do away with it >retard This is weak controlled opposition. is the only response anyone should ever give ever, not a stupid, long winded, self defeating, hypocritical tirade that sounds autistic.
moving goalposts, try addressing the point about the context of a position rather than ad hom.
Brandon Baker
But it's true tho. Centrist are a bunch of spineless cowards.

> except there were people here, and if you post it, you will look like a fucking moron.

I feel dirty from this thread. Every single one of us needs an exorcism asap.

Horse shoe theory is an obeservation of the fact that an ideology cares most about differences regarding the values it's concerned with. Both Fascism and Marxism have their own version of horseshoe theory, it's just framed differently, accusing liberals of being crypto-marxists or crypto-fascists.
I am very much aware, and am using the term liberal in the proper sense. Democracy is a policy, not an ideology, though it's often conflated with liberalism. In reality though, you can have something like democratic socialism, but all that means is you vote on the socialism. You're still not free in such a system.
>except there were people here So? How does that negate the point of the image.

>Facts are controlled by the spectrum of opinions of others!
>Good news everyone! We no longer have to study science. We just have to study consensus and by virtue of a baseless opinion being the middle ground, it will become correct.
liberalism is not the centre. That's literally your subjective opinion.
Blake Smith
>the middle ground I can't tell if you're retarded or have cancer. You need to see a doctor.
Grayson Moore
Horshoe theory AND linear poles are both retarded. Take the Circle Theory pill. All political positions are merely based on desires and fantasy, whatever position you take matters not as all that matters is survival and self preservation to the individual. I'm not a natsoc because I actually give a shit about values or homogeneity but because those things just happen to benefit me. Fuck off idealists.

>The far-right wants to ban anti-white speech No >- The Phrase "Sexy Black Bitches": The far-right hates it for "promoting race-mixing". The far-left hates it for being "degrading to women". ...I've never been so indifferent to a phrase in my life >- Video Games: They either promote misogyny or promote violence. Neither? >- Heavy Metal: It either promotes violence or promotes misogyny. Neither >- Gangsta Rap: It either promotes sexism or is too black. Or it's part of a degenerate black culture that encourages murder, rape and drug-dealing >- Porn: It either "promotes rape" or "will turn you gay". Or it will cause a dopamine addiction loop in your brain making you an incel/clinically depressed/disengaged from society >- Democracy: It's either bad because it gives white males a voice or because it gives everyone else a voice. It's bad because it's dominated by jewish corporate interests >- Science: It's either run by white males or run by Jews. A centrist is a useful idiot, being lead to cherrypicking a little from the left and a litttle from the right to craft a perfect deep state.

>People actually think being an authoritarian asshole is the proper way to live life. Sad!
Logan Gonzalez
No. >I propose we don't call the Leftists, Liberals. They're far from it, proven by the censorship they're for. No, its yours, it came from you, now it's time for you to own it. Because it implicitly allows the left to feel morally even in culturally enriching america. It would be tit for tat, and it is, unless you clarify we were conquerors, and what that means.
Dominic Johnson
>>Facts are controlled by the spectrum of opinions of others! Who the fuck is saying that?
>Center-right party is nominally liberal >Center-left party is nominally liberal >Far right is fascist >Far left is marxist Yes, the center is liberalism. Either way, if that's just my opinion, then the same is true of the center just being fence-sitters.
>Circle theory Nigger, the different ideologies are separate. There. There is no ideological spectrum that flows from fascism to liberalism to marxism. Each ideology has its own spectrum. The left-right model is based on policy, which is not the primary thing we should be analyzing right now.
Kayden Sullivan
>The Nazis were fairly centerline.
Not really. They privatized many of the banks. They also used a completely different definition of "socialism".
Patriotism was the main thing that drove them. The Nazis had more in common with the right.
Horseshoe theory is important as free speech is under attack from all sides.
Justin Hughes
>Thinking Trump is right-wing
My god this thread surely attracts retards. Don't let them derail this thread.
Josiah Robinson
Tbh we should just drop the right-left model. People who aren't liberal under the traditional definition are the opposition.
Andrew Gray
Horseshoe theory is almost correct. The center on pic is the retards who give no shits about politics or state of affairs. The left and right are the retards who care about politics and state of affairs, but lack the ability to think critically.
The updated version should have the two ends join, and that would be “center.” Being able to see what each side is fighting for, the strength of each side, the weakness of each side, and ultimitely a bit closer to something that works.
Alexander Myers
>calling a shill a shill or calling a kike a kike, is an Ad Hominem No faggot, stating the obvius in a non-argument is not an Ad Hominem.

why americans create the shittiest ideologies and political systems ?
Jordan Harris
Well, what can i say? If you kill your enemies they win.
>Modern day liberalism That's a misuse of a term. Conservatism isn't even a position, it's an approach based on skepticism of change, especially when none seems needed.
Daniel Rogers
>democracy no
Julian Robinson
Jefferson was a traditional liberal. Also, he was flat out wrong about certain things.
Justin Sanchez
Holy shit you're politically retarded. Modern day left wing liberalism is an ideology whether you want to believe it or not. Classical liberalism is just libertarianism lite. Conservatism is much more than just "lol h8 chang XDD"
Tyler Young

>Doesn't read pic >Thinks Jefferson wanted democracy Lol no.
>Thinks Jefferson wanted democracy You wrote it yourself, retard.
Brandon Barnes
>Modern left wing liberalism is an ideology In the modern sense, liberalism is NOMINALLY center left, and ultimately a subset of traditional liberalism. The parties generally refered to as liberal are being co-opted by progressives, which belongs to a completely seperate ideological camp. The center-left and center-right are different parts of the same ideology. The modern usage of the term liberal is a MISusage, caused by liberalism's decay and a lack of political awareness in the USA, the latter being the same reason for why socialism is ALSO so often misused in the west.
>Classical liberalism I'm not talking about classical liberalism. Classical liberalism is only a form of liberalism.
Grayson Walker
Come on bro, critical thinking. The political horseshoe still includes those that are not part of politics. A lack of knowledge or interest in politics are still on the political spectrum. Just as an unemployed person is still on the employment spectrum.
Camden Thompson
*people with a lack of knowledge or ...
Nolan Wood
>Like what? The reason he was pro agrarian was because he thought working in a city for a wage would politically compromise employees. This is not an issue, and in fact we have things in place to prevent such issues, such as people's votes being secret. He was also opposed to monarchism flat-out, and being opposed to constitutional monarchy where the monarch is not involved in government is pointless (to be fair though, such monarchies didn't really exist in Jefferson's time). That's just off the top of my head. I'd have to go and read a bit to see if there's any more, but the fact is, he was living in over 200 years ago. The situation is different, and it should be obvious that what he was saying would require some adjustment for the modern day.
Samuel Gomez
>The political horseshoe still includes those that are not part of politics. No, it doesn't, because the left/right model is a measure of policy. People who don't care about politics don't have policies.
Hudson Reed
Is there anything more cringy than a fence sitter who's too afraid to actually learn about and understand partisan ideologies?
>Modern age I can see why, but literally most of the things on the list can still work in modern times. For example agrarianism can still be promoted through a land value tax. >Hates monarchy How is he wrong on that? Fuck the queen and her family, they are a bunch of elites who don't care for their people. >Agrarianism What's wrong being an independent farmer? Plus cities promote corruption, poverty, degeneracy, and is a leftist breeding ground.
Adrian Baker
Well … some leftists, like Chomsky and Kulinski, are pretty liberal.
I know want you are talking about though. SJWs are cancer.
Angel Anderson
And a lack-of, is still part of the picture. Also, if you read my 1st post, it says the horseshoe theory is almost correct, and put my input into a better model of it.
My point stands.

I doubt that independent farms could produce enough food for the world's growing population.

Wow. The far-right is against the American Revolution now. This just keeps getting funnier and funnier.

You know that Canada is a democracy right? Trudeau isn't going to kill me just because I hate him because he doesn't wield absolute power.

While I agree with immigration in its current state being a complete failure, this picture is cringe as fuck. If you want to take that argument and really dissect it, it is a failure.
Argument is “no one lived here, so Euros took it.” How this argument fails is, there WERE people living here, but Euros rekt them. Their ancestors left them their land, as in the argument in your picture.
If you want to say “well Euros were master race, and we took over” then same argument can apply to immigrants who are invading the western world. Picture is just cringe and edge lord status.
My parents immigrated legally to USA decades ago, and family is well educated. Trump supporters. We play several instruments. My brother was part of orchestra at Disney Hall in Downtown Los Angeles years ago. Gun supporters. In short, we’re more damn American/Western than many of these “muh aryan race” fools who like to praise Euro culture, but dont have an ounce of it in them, besides on the internet. If anything, theyre closer to the people they hate, than the people they praise.
Pics like the one posted above do nothing to help the cause, and make Trump supporters/republicans look dumb in the eyes of the left.
Adrian Sullivan
>What is an Ad Hominem then? Something something your opponent is a/an [insert "unrelated characteristic to the topic" here], therefore his argument is invalid. Is that definition good enough?
Adam Williams
No dumbass, the argument is that the United States is not a country of "immigrants", but a country of White settlers and colonists who created it. There people on this continent before us, but there was no "America" before we arrived. >My parents immigrated legally to USA decadesago So your Non-White parents decided to immigrate to my country and displace my people. >and family is well educated. I don't care, your not European so we don't want you here. >Trump supporters. Don't care >My brother was part of orchestra at Disney Hall in Downtown Los Angeles years ago. Ah Los Angeles, the once overwhelmingly White city whites had to flee. >In short, we’re more damn American/Western than many of these “muh aryan race” fools who like to praise Euro culture, but dont have an ounce of it in them Don't give me that "oh we love American, British, German, etc. culture so we're just as American, British, German, etc as you" shit. Americans are a European people, we're not defined by "ideas".
