They think maybe they'd lose out on Muslim ad money. And people who disagree with my politics so much they might leave if I were allowed to express my opinion - having them around is more important from an ad-revenue perspective.
Anyone who expresses an opinion that might interfere with Twitter's mission of getting the most money is creating an unhealthy environment. And it seems this mission of making money gives Twitter a certain political interest that lends itself to becoming a certain political ideology - that of whatever will make Twitter the most money.
