Yeah big time. Sadly I'm in the orange of light pollution. About 50km away is an excellent dark sky site which I intend to visit someday. I once asked my friend in Seoul about what he thought about astronomy, and he said "What stars?" It is totally blanked out due to might pollution. So it's not that bad for me. I'm seriously jelly of people living in areas with Bortle scale class 0 views.

That's because you aren't in the middle of nowhere, you are near some town or operation with industrial lights.
You have to really go out to see the stars.

You are to far south to see the northern ligts regularly, your pic is from svalbard at the northpole

not regularly like in the picture, yeah. i saw a bit of them yesterday while taking out the trash, and last winter they managed to be pretty vibrant.

Saw them in Norway but I was a bit south and it was very low in the horizon and dim. You need to be way north
