This story may seem hard to believe, but when I was a youth I volunteered at a "Christian concert venue". They were basically a youth center that let local bands play there mainly emo, goth and industrial run by two evangelical Christians who realized that those kids were the only ones not targeted by any churches. They played shows on Saturdays and held services on Sundays.
It didn't draw too many kids into the church but it did give them a clean place to listen to local music where no drugs and alchohal were around. Even some "bigger" bands like the Cruxshadows, and Bella Morte played there.
