Website is a service you can use to check if something is plagarized.

Someone at USC ran it through TurnItIn when he read it, after the NYT printed it. The USC person was probably hoping to find phrases that would identify the author. Unfortunately, because TurnItIn utterly sucks (I tested it for my university, and it detected only about a third of sample plagiarisms in a specially crafted test document), USC person probably turned up zero. But, once TurnItIn sees a paper, it keeps a copy forever, so it flags those words as belonging to someone at USC.
