But there're thousand of other factors that play a larger role.

Everyone knew that Obama's policy didn't work at what it was (allegedly) designed to do, and only served to create a huge crisis and destroy the economy.
All the leftist media predicted that Trump obliterating Obama's legacy would result in the opposite effect than what we currently see.
Now they are trying to rewrite history.
Trump has made tons of things that are making the economy better, not just that one.

You could say tax cuts or the tariffs, but a lot of what the President does that dictates the actual economy is inspire confidence in investors. Its mostly not actions, but rather attitude.

You don't have to prove anything. As usual, the leftist argument makes no sense at face value. If Trump's runaway economy is due to Obama, it would mean the recovery under Obama was due to Bush II. It would also mean the recession under Bush was due to Clinton, and the economic boom under Clinton was due to Reagan/Bush I. I doubt a leftistbwould agree with any of this, but if we're going to give the previous president credit for a current president's success, then that logic should be applied across the board.
