They're probably not bad people, but...I'm a bit old-fashioned, and they're all near 20 years old (making them around ten years younger than me) and very noticeably members of their generation. I find it hard to deal with and even listen to them, what with their different conversation styles, sense of humour, life priorities and focus of attention.
On the plus side, they do all speak their various dialects, which warms my heart.

My complaint about IB is really that the young ones are treating it as an extension of their social-media-centric existence, playing with temporary attention-grabbing and awareness-raising instead of effecting lasting change.
