Pollution problem is a non-white problem, anyone trying to solve pollution while increasing non-white population is a hypocrite.
China, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Vietnam among others. CO2 emissions are a least concern when mass deforestation, heavy metals, toxic industrial waste and plastics are poured elsewhere and everywhere every day. The only solution is a drastic reduction of non-white world population, most ecologist don't care about the environment anyways you won't hear them proposing the ultimate solution.
Environmental pollution is a big problem that no one addresses correctly
Good idea
It enraged me to find out where all the plastic in the ocean is coming from. This earth is too beautiful for those sub humans to leave in tact
*Deep ecology intensifies*
like 70% of our GDP based on deforestation and pollution-heavy industry, if you westerner could pay 'oxygen tax' equal to or more than our GDP loss if we stop deforestation entirely then we would be more than glad to supply breathable air to the world.
tha'ts my bike
Of all the billions of plastic straws in the ocean, it amounted to only 2000 tonnes, when 9 million tonnes of other plastics enter the ocean every single fcking year, that's 4 garbage trucks a minute, and look at all the fucking push back when just straws were banned, the sooner the biosphere collapses the better because honestly fuck this
I'll be glad if we can eventually get to somewhere like Mars and leave this fucking planet behind to die, at least up there every green plant and drop of water will be valued like it should, anyone not recycling will be thrown out the airlock
Can confirm, they collect garbage daily here and it's still a fucking mess.
Nice try shekel lover
This. Reminder that racism = environmentalism
>give us money to stop being subhuman yellow planet killing monkeys
fuck off.
that's the truth.
I thought bill gates was supposed to make a vaccine to decrease the african population. whatever happened to that?
I would rather use that money to clean Indonesia
Antibiotic resistant plague? Based Bill
CO2 emissions are a more serious problem than any of the other environmental issues, though.
Trees can't grow back if we destroy the climactic conditions they are used to. More poverty due to collapsing agricultural systems will lead to more pollution (clearly povety creates pollution, look at Indonesia or somewhere like this).
That being said you are right that not enough attention is paid to other environmental problems.
Soil Erosion
Insect biomass decline
Earthworm decline
Phosphorous overuse
Overuse of other seemingly infinite materials like the sand used for concrete and metals used in smart phones
Domestic cats (kill billions of native animals every year)
Space pollution
These are all environmental problems that nobody discusses with serious consequences
>CO2 emissions are a more serious problem than any of the other environmental issues, though
Every single living being is made of CO2, sugar is CO2, millions of plants, algae and protists EAT CO2. It's just a matter of time before the biosphere integrates the CO2 in their chemistry. Heavy metals, plastics and industrial chemicals cannot be cleaned
>its just a matter of millions of years
CO2 emissions are also the only environmental problem that people cannot even agree is a problem/exists. Nobody is denying the problems of plastic or mercury.
>Trees can't grow back if we destroy the climactic conditions they are used to
>Life cannot adapt
>CO2 that makes plants will make plants stop growing
High CO2 in the atmosphere is gold. You can synthesize diesel out of atmospheric CO2 if you are smart enough
>what is desertification
Do you know that at a certain point of warming the Amazon would basically become a seasonal forest? At times in recent years it has been a net emitter of carbon due to drought and fire.
The largest enviromental problem is niggers.
Yes but regions far from ecuador would experience and increase in biomass in exchange. Also an equilibrium would be reached since plants would start fixing more carbon like in other ages when carbon was more abundant. More CO2 can only increase biomass
