It's amazing how fucked my public education-based understanding of history is. like i knew that the victors of the wars always write the history books, but the indoctrination has become completely normalized to the point where it is impossible to even think differently without being demonized or ostracized from society.
I need to start reading real books. I was a marxist up until a few years ago. Never anticipated how deeply wrong I had been about history and philosophy.
