Unfortunatley, the surname you have tells everything about you. For example, if you had the surname of Soni, then everyone knows that your father owns a gold and pawn shop in his hometown and you are able to afford a private school. Your father wants you to go into commerce, especially banking or accounting.

Dalits are treated poorly, and are born into poverty. The poor treatment of Dalits started after the Gupta Dynasty. Vaishnav Hindus "traditionally" don't allow Dalits into temples. Stepping into New Delhi for the first time made my eyes water. There was no smell of curry or shit, but the air pollution was frankly smellable. You could tell that the air quality in that city was absolute shit. In other cities, it's not that bad. In Gujarat, cows are allowed to roam around on the streets, unlike Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, etc. so it smells like cow dung often.
