Anyway it's to avoid people being threatened to vote for or against any particular candidate. You pick multiple ballots, and go behind the curtain where noone can follow and then you must show your voting paper as well as your ID which they stamp to make sure you only voted once. The box are also sealed so nobody can tamper with the votes until they are counted in another secured area.

US voting system (at least in my state) is pretty secure.

The number of ballots voted is validated continuously and cross checked with the poll book. At the end of the day it has to equal out or it means somebody fucked up or there is too many ballots.

It's not fool proof by any chance but there's a lot of safeguards. The only thing that worries me is the integrity of tabulators themselves and the fact that we upload votes to the county clerk online. But there is always paper backup.

Here we get a ballot, and mark it with a black pen, and then it gets scanned, and then they hand it back to you, and you fold, and seal it, then it goes in a locked box in case there is a recount.
I think we would shoot politicians if they made us vote like Swedumb.

That's the kind of scary part, polling booths tend to be staffed by government employees (liberals) and volunteers (liberals) as well. Always makes you wonder when they suddenly "find" 300 more ballots in contested races that magically bring the Democrat candidate out on top by a few votes.
