all they're doing there is setting up scapegoats and setting the stage to get rid of anyone who threatens the status quo that they don't already have anything on. They tried it with Assange but it fell flat because he wasn't on their radar until that point. But they still succeeded in driving him into hiding and effectively cutting off the head of WikiLeaks. No other platform has emerged to take up the mantle to date probably out of fear that they'll do the same thing again.
