Hurricane Florence reached Category 3 Major Hurricane Status overnight, and is expected to strike North Carolina at at least Category 3+ intensity based on current models and predictions from the NHC and others. A really high Possibility of landfall at Category 4, potentially Category 5 exists as well. Will know for sure in the next few days. It is currently at Category 3 intensity and rapid intensification is expected to continue over the next 24-36 hours

I remember when hurricane Fran hit Clayton in ‘96. This one is taking a very similar path.
