Good work by completely ignoring the #1 safest and most effective cure for gender dysphoria, therapy. Although to be fair, that vast majority of the trans population also choose to ignore it and would rather die than admit therapy helps and this IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION IS FUCKING TRUE.
Find me a trans person who knows someone who is starting to question their gender where they then recommend to this person that they should seek therapy as theres statistically a good chance (75% or so) that they will grow out of this phase. They never fucking do, instead they convince the poor, confused soul to take extremely powerful mind-altering drugs /hormones and cut their dick off, much easier when on the drugs of course. The mere suggestion that someone would go to therapy instantly puts transgenderism square in the mental illness category, so thats why they refuse to acknowledge it works.
The minority of cases can be somewhat controlled through HRT and a minority of those cases can be cured by SRS. It says a lot when in the past, 75% of cases of gender dysphoria were cured by therapy yet today when therapy is shunned and ignored in favour of mutilating your body and sterilising yourself, 46% attempt suicide. Almost as if a very high proportion of those who attempted suicide, should never have undergone HRT/SRS to begin with.
I fucking hate anyone who says they are a 'trans ally' yet reject the idea of therapy as bigotry and instead prefer the suicide option. These people are scum, on the tier of that woman in USA who convinced her boyfriend to kill himself in his car. They never show remorse, they never acknowledge their actions lead to death.
