It’s true. im One of the youngest people in my lodge. Most of the regular active members are retired. I go to a meeting and Only a few people are under 60. The lodge like most in the US is desperate for funds to pay all of our expenses. Which is why the members are desperate to attract younger members. We don’t even have insurance on the building we meet in because of a lack of funding. It’s hard to recruit because the rules of masonry say you aren’t supposed to advertise or ask people to join they have to ask you. If you believe otherwise, just join. Ask a lodge if you can join and tell them you believe in a higher power and don’t be a psycho and they will let you in.
