The problem is though is that the president can only 'request' declassification. The actual sign off has to come though the DOJ (Rosenstein - as sessions has rescued himself and certainly won't sign off on something within the 'traditional' 60 day window) and the head of the FBI.
The thing is, this implicates Rosenstein as a deep state actor so there is no way he will sign off on something that implicates himself.
Rod Rosenstein requested a meeting with POTUS which was 'declined'. This possibly means that RR is out in the cold and could possibly be charged with something?
