Lived 2 years in Croatia and 3 something years in Albania and Greece.
Albanians are very strange, some are absolute niggers some are super bro tier, moreover they had a clan structure and such there were heavy differences in different regions, ranging from smart and civilized, to subversive, to being straight up idiots.
But the country is beautiful and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and they are very pro Western, I think the US had an approval rating of 95% or something.
Croatians are really great, it's one of those countries I can actually feel at home.

I asked because I'm ethnically Albanian and I'd be lying if I said the anti-Albanian memes don't get to me. We have a lot of problems, mainly stemming from the communist era, but there are lots of genuine people that want to reform the culture and political landscape. The savages you mentioned are uneducated and almost always poor. They resort to crime and other shady tactics to gain income. They slander our global image and that is most certainly the cause for the anti-Albanian sentiment. Just know that those people don't represent all of us and they are a symptom of a larger problem that will hopefully be resolved in the near future. That is no excuse for their behavior however. If you see one of those bellends, feel free to teach them a lesson. Currently, Albania's major issue is political corruption. I think Albanians really look up to the West, particularly America and Trump, for the "Drain The Swamp" slogan. Albania needs it's swamp drained and a cultural reform. Religion is pretty much dead over there too, especially with the newer generations. All in all, the country has potential. After the communist era ended, the economy collapsed and the GDP plummeted, but somehow they managed to clean up decently and raise the GDP from crums to 5 digits. That's still shit in comparison to the West, but that's okay for a Balkan country, since that side of Europe has always been quite poor. I have faith in the country.

Those are my estimates from living there.
Religion isn't a serious thing in Albania. The youth are losing their faith even faster.
