so you want the whole US election to be dominated by a few megacities and urban centers? why should anyone care about rural areas and low population states, ffs wyoming only has about 500k inhabitants these states would be completely shit on, if you were to count every vote as equal. the system is not perfect (i do think it needs rework) but counting every vote as equal would be a disaster in the US. it works in european countries but not in the US.
