I want the Dems to impeach Trump if they take the house. Why? Because Bill Clinton's approval rating in 1999 was around 42%, but when he got impeached, his ratings skyrocketed. The people tend to side with the President against the legislature, just like the people always sided with the King against the Lords, or the Emperor against the Senate.
Trump is no Bill Clinton. If the Dems some how get enough of the House and Senate to seriously push for impeachment the negative press against Trump will go into super overdrive. Dems will be pushing 24/7 and what would be remaining of the GOP will be out complaining but like now when they do have a majority will be overshadowed by anti-Trump coverage.
Trump will still be liked by those who like him but I find it hard to believe those who do not like him will start liking him because he is facing impeachment. The Dems want to impeach Trump because they claim "Turmp helped Putin hack our democracy" not because he got a blowjob like Bill.
