That's not how storms work bud. The eye vanishes and winds dramatically reduce the moment it gets over the mainland. Not only that, this storm was petering out BEFORE it even hit the coastline, unlike gulf storms which do as I describe despite accelerating towards landfall. The only thing this storm is going to do is dump a bunch of water and the tide may flood the first tier evacuation zone
