I'm in the same boat, been trying to stop for years now. Once stopped for 6 months a year ago. I wish I could say I've successfully stopped but I'm back in the dumps.
I think the key is to make it hard to access and get other ways to spend your time. And even when you've stopped for a while, keep those filters in place. I've heard having a porn addiction compared to having a chronic shoulder injury or something like that. After a while you can heal it, but you always have to take precautions and play carefully so you don't injure it again.
