Is there something horribly wrong with Japanese women that I don't know about, or is this just a weird form of following the path of least resistance? I can understand wanting to bail on American women, because everyone who's had experience with our women knows how bad they are, but Japanese women literally dindu nuffin wrong (as far as I know). This just seems weird and illogical to me.

Its a deep crisis the men are in. The BBC had an report about ex-Jakuza men, who are now building up an own dating service, because people belive that Jakuza men are all killers. But they also need love ;)

Society is super formal and rigid and alot of young japanese can't keep up so they retreat into virtual worlds of anime and video games. On top of that due to the super formal and rigid nature of society even those who manage to somehow keep up never get the chance to learn how to interact with the other gender and pick up girls and get laid.
