Sen. Jeff Flake, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said in an interview Sunday evening that until he learns more about the sexual assault allegation regarding Brett Kavanaugh, he is “not comfortable voting yes” on Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court at a scheduled Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.
The Arizona senator is one of 11 Republicans on the narrowly divided panel, and without his support, the nomination cannot move forward given Democratic opposition. “We need to hear from her. And I don’t think I’m alone in this,” Flake told POLITICO.
After 3 days, they finally got Cuban spics to answer their phonecalls and guess what? Curbelo caught up after being down by 10-15 points for the entire time kek
Replaced my 20+ year old car's brake pads and rotors >so tired I can barely stand >ass hurts >back hurts >knees bruised >terrible sunburn on face, neck, and arms >3 cuts on fingers >but all fingertips hurt >as do all toes >dehydrated, drank 4 bottles of water yet haven't peed once, hours after. At least I didn't die, I jacked the car up on an incline. >auto-shoah mode made me smile at least
So if Collins and Murkowski cuck on Kavanaugh, which seems very much within the realm of possibility, there's almost no way another judge could be nominated and pushed through in time for the midterms.
In other words if this attack, which was obviously specifically made up for those two actually works, we're going to end up with at BEST a moderate/leaning Kennedy type justice. It's an obvious tactic but there are enough traitors in the Republican party for it to actually work. It's infuriating.

China is reluctant to hold any trade negotiations with the US under the trade war as it said it would not talk under pressure, even though it did not completely forgo the negotiations, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing Chinese officials. said that the latest moves of the Trump administration might jeopardize the potential trade talks with Beijing, which the US officials themselves had sought.
>“China never said it doesn’t want to negotiate with the US,” Yang Weimin, a former senior economic and foreign policy adviser to President Xi Jinping, said Sunday, as cited by the WSJ. He added, however, that Washington should first “show sincerity” in its desire to resolve the trading dispute. “China is not going to negotiate with a gun pointed to its head.”
On Friday, Trump reportedly greenlighted additional tariffs on Chinese goods worth about $200 billion.
The GOP has basically zero chance of losing the Senate and even if they come out with the same net number after the midterms, they'll be a few cuckservatives less.

>The Judiciary Committee then votes on the nomination and sends its recommendation (that it be confirmed, that it be rejected, or with no recommendation) to the full Senate
If Flake cucks out it'll be a tie. That means "no recommendation". It'll still go to the Senate.

Xi will bend the knee. He has no choice. The alternative is increasing unrest at home. Also, one of their major ports just got typhoon'd, so shit's already gonna start stacking up.
would holding off on voting in a justice be that bad though? i could see it being a positive, and just another reason for republicans to get out and vote.

Stop posting pictures of libertarians. White leftists have no kids. This is observed in most urban cores in the west. Suburban White Women have the most kids Is this woman an Arab?

That's one of the interesting things about the Dem ploy to delay Kavanaugh. I think they know they'll lose this game, and are just playing for time. Their best case scenario is a brief time frame of maintiaing a 4 - 4 draw on SCOTUS.

It's because my garage is full of shit, I know it's a still a bad idea. Put the wheels underneath car just in case, might survive the squish.
Flake once again proves to be the absolute worst RINO piece of shit in the entire Senate. Thank God that treacherous slime McCain is dead.

I think a lot of people in this thread don't understand how the senate works. Even if the republicans lose the senate in the mid term, they don't actually leave until January. So they would still have a few months to push through a judge.

All of those millions of deceased sparrows flapped their little wings so hard it created a storm as revenge on China?
>boy I sure hope to hear more about this non-crime that supposedly happened over 30 years ago even though both witnesses have already denied that it happened and all evidence that it may have happened has been gone for 29 years I'm so glad this asshole is almost out of here.
Was it really the only class? Sounds like a nightmare.

Or it galvanizes republican voters to the polls and a more conservative judge is nominated when the Senate is more in our favor. This has always been lose-lose for the Dems.

Nevada rally Nice. Most polls still have the Senate race there within the MoE, so a Trump rally should give a good boost to voter enthusiasm
Yes. And not just because she's a coalburner by proxy by adopting niglets. It would show that any time you try to appoint an actual tough on immigration tough on 2nd amendment SC justice he can always be sunk by fictional rape stories. If Trump pulls him it'd be a show of massive weakness.
