The Mediocre Man
>When your visionary bow aims towards the stars and you unfold your wings towards such unreachable loftiness, eager of perfection and rebellious to mediocrity, you carry deep within, the mysterious spring of an Ideal. It is a sacred ember, capable of annealing you for great deeds. Guard it! If extinguished, it will not re-ignite. And if it dies, you are left inert; cold human rubbish. You only live for that particle of fantasy that lifts you beyond reality. It is the feather of your blazon, the crest of your temperament. Innumerable signs reveal its presence: When your throat tightens remembering the hemlock imposed on Socrates, the cross raised for Christ and the bonfire ignited for Bruno; when you dream unbounded reading Plato’s dialogues, Montaigne’s essays or Helvetius discourses; when your heart trembles thinking of the unequal fortune of those passions in which you were Juliet’s Romeo and Carlotta’s Werther; when your temples freeze with emotion declaring a verse by Musset that rhymes according to your feelings and when, in sum, you admire the clear mind of genius, the sublime virtue of saints, the great quest of heroes, leaning with equal veneration before the creators of Truth and Beauty.
Recently read All the Kings Men by Robert Penn Warren and a English translation of parzival. I'd recommend both, I think they're Jow Forums approved.

Read “Only 1 Post By This ID” by OP Faggot
I was too busy reading
by Marcus Aurelius?
The one and only
I got a recommendation from a friend recently to read No More Hunger by William Dudley Pelley. Apparently it proposes a unique economic system for america whereas every (implied) white citizen would have stock in america as a form of company.
pretty interesting concept. will look into it
Oh sorry op. I didnt see the rest of your post. I just put siege. A book id recommend? Siege. Lol
Great book
>man taking a redpill on the cover
yeah, I was gonna expect siege anyway lol
>“In the summer of 1937, Rand took a break from working on The Fountainhead to write the novelette called Anthem, a short, highly stylized tale of a future dystopia so saturated in collectivism that the word “I” has disappeared from the language.”
Dune
I dont know if youd consider it a good book. Its a short book. I just read it in class. We had a class at the beginning of the day where we were required to just read a book for half an hour. Thats the one i read. And a little bit of stephen kings pet cemetary.
Charles Willefords' Something About A Soldier ..Every father should give his son a copy
Yukio Mishima is p god tier. I liked Evola's ideas on metaphysics from what I've read of him. Hemingway is someone I enjoy altho i but philistines will hate on his writing style. Propaganda by Edward Bernays is a very good book as well. Currently reading the art of war and re-reading dantes inferno. Finished inside the third reich this year too, which is a very dull book, but will leave you with a great understand about the third reich.
The only books ive read recently are the old testament and bible. A few years after highschool i just felt lost and felt like i needed to read them. I need to read more. I can count the books ive read on one hand.
very informative. thanks for the recommendations
I'll read it as a break between books. Thanks.
I got into all the religions. I wanted to know what all these people were talking about. And i felt like the world was evil. So i started reading the bible. But half way through i couldnt really understand so i read the old testament. Then after i read that i read the bible. And my brother had a book of buddhism i read. And i read the quran. I also looked into ancient religions. Like the first ever known religions. And paganism. The greeks and the egyptians. Ive read a lot of religious texts.
Intriguing. Religious literature is very important, especially, i would assume, if you want a deeper understanding of spirituality.
Do you have this in a better quality?
Read what interests you and dive deep.
Read 10 books about Ancient Greece instead of 10 books at random and you'll be better off.
Ancient Greece is an example. But pick something and read a bunch of books related to it. Pick a historical figure, a period of time, a city, etc.
