How should prisons work?

Why is there no reward system in prisons? People who behave, work hard, dress well, try to resocialize should get some rewards such as a private cell instead of a shared cell, internet connection, access to the garden, better food etc. People who don’t behave get little or nothing.

Prisoners are like kids, you need to approach them with a carrot and stick approach.

P.S. what the hell are these orange jumpsuits for in America?

They already do these things in many prisons.

I doubt it really. Do your prisons have internet, good food, ability to work outside of prisons if you showed good behavior? Do you have sensible prison dress code instead of jumpsuits? How will anyone every try to reintegrate if he has a jumpsuit on?

Their "reward" should be a meal and not dying. Fuck those scum

It's literally giving people a reason to commit crimes, this is why immigrants in your country run a muck! prison life in Germany is a million times better then regular life in their shithole of a country.

summary execution

Fine. Do you think this system will end up reducing violence in your country?

Our crime rate is way lower than in America. Both violent and non-violent crime, regardless of what Jow Forums says.

Probably not, the best way to reduce violence is at the source. Not in prisons but prison does help as a deterrent.

Give it another 30 years when niggers are 30% of your population.

And I believe you, but giving prisoners a luxurious life style will only make them think that committing crimes isn't so bad when you get pizza and internet in prison. Besides it's unfair for the tax payers

So where is the source of violence and non-violent crime then? Pic related is honestly a beautifully made chart. Take a moment to look at it. How do you change this? Where is the source?

I am not a socialist, I don’t believe if you hand people gibmees, these numbers will change. But I think there is a way to get a shitton of these people off crime if you make some societal changes such as make these people manual work, get some basic education in them and dress them well, rather than use orange jumpsuits and treat them like kids.

America's prison system is broken. It creates more criminals. The plea bargain system encourages courts to be corrupt and encourages people to admit to crimes they did not commit. Also felony murders or whatever they're called aka a friend borrows your car and you say that's fine then they use it to rob a store and your friend gets shot and dies and YOU get charged with murder LOL America.
That's what you get for being colonized by evangelicals.

Punishment should be beatings or torture of severity commensurate with the offense. For irredeemable criminals we should just execute them as needed. Caging humans is expensive, inhumane, and allows criminals to network. It's also not a strong enough or immediate form of conditioning for high time preference idiots.

>Pic related is honestly a beautifully made chart.
But Jow Forums told me that the majority of people in prison are there for owning a single harmless marijuana joint!

Our negroes and Arabs and Turks have a high crime rate but still not anywhere near the rate shown in America. My personal guess is this is often because their German skills can be good if they are born in Germany. A black German passport holder can often speak the same type of German as a native white German. I have noticed that in America in lower classes and bad neighborhood, there is a distinct negro speak or Hispanic speak which divides the upper white class and the lower non-white class.

Prison in the states is about money. Most of them are privately owned and make money by having criminals taking up space and resources. They want these people to stay criminals. They don't want the prisoners to improve or change. Better people means fewer people imprisoned, meaning less money for the owners.

>How should prisons work?
as soon as you arrive to the prison you are shot in the head and your corpse is incinerated

they should be slaves working to repay the country that they owe the debt from.

>Why is there no reward system in prisons?
You might as well just paint a target on those people.

like slaughter houses.

Former prison guard here. Segregate, segregate, segregate. There is no such thing as rehabilitation. Most of the guys are stupid nickle and dime drug offenders. The hardened criminals are beyond fucked and cartels use prison like a fucking recruiting center. Honestly just deport fucking everyone of them back to their shitholes. I'm from El Salvidor and I know shitholes. Prison is big business inside and out. Lot's of money and deals are made inside while the government state and feds make big money housing the shitiest low lives ever made. Just shut em down and shoot the fuckers.

Most prisoners in the us are raised by single mothers. I don't agree with you by giving these people luxuries it will keep them away from crime, but I do agree that they should be given manual labor in exchange for reduce sentences. The prison system in America is very corrupt btw and I think sentences and punishments need to be more harsher.

German Flag. Of course.

And if they really behave themselves, Ahmed the Refugee should get private visits with a group of school girls.

It's prison, you stupid fuck.

Our main problem in the United States is we lock up too many people for made-up victimless crimes, crimes against the state, and "laws" that don't actually protect society.

Still, the people who end up in prison deserve it a lot of times. The people who misbehave in prison are often serious offenders there for life or a very violent crime. What good will a reward system do when this is human waste that would have been executed had some states not gotten rid of their death penalty? The prison system is filled with some extremely disturbing and violent people that ethical laws and bans on cruel and unusual punishment mean we have to take care of on some basic human standard.

>They already do these things in many prisons.

Also this, to a degree. You can get your time reduced for good behavior and being a model inmate.

That is a very common practice, hence why we have trustee inmates in the states. Many places they work a normal 9-5 an return to the prison at nights or on weekends.

>Why is there no reward system in prisons
It depends on where you go to prison. I went to prison in Wyoming. They taught me how to be a machinist. I make nearly $100k with no high school diploma. If I had been busted in Kansas instead, I'd probably be in prison instead of shitposting while waiting for a plane to go fix a thing.

This is probably how slavery began.

Of course that is not the case. Many Jow Forums posters are borderline retarded. There really is a violent crime problem in America and quite honestly, repeated burglarly is “violent” in my view too. But how can you change that?

I think you need to change how kids think growing up. That only works through dress code and language. Someone speaking like a Harvard graduate and dressing like pic related just has a lower chance of manslaughtering anyone.

Not a chance in hell

Prisons should be brutal manual labor for males. However have safe lockups so you won't be victimized by other criminals.
Feminization for the females. Sit around and make dresses and things or get shaved and given the dunce hat.

Fine, that surely is a way to reduce crime. But our society typically thinks you shouldn’t be killed for stealing a snickers bar from a supermarket.

>How should prisons work?
Like a chain gang or a horrible forced labor camp.

Allow them to work outside for a dollar per hour and for every day worked they lose a day of jail time. this obv. wont work for the harder criminals but it might work for the ones who did smaller crimes.

>shouldn’t be killed for stealing a snickers bar from a supermarket.
why not? you sealed your own fate by being a thief.

I believe after a good long stint in prison, a man is turned into a very good candidate for the armed forces, he is hard, savage, usually with a team-based soldier mentality. We make these men tough, the prison environment weeds out the weak, but then we make no use of them. Give them an honourable chance to serve, make them part of society again and they will love you for it. Frontline infantry par excellence, wasting away in a godamn box just because civilian life was too dull and soft for them, a waste of our best psychopaths.

Germany doesn't have an entire underclass of mutt white trash and niggers. Up until recently before you decided to Islamify/Africanize yourselves, you didn't have to worry about gang banging niggers running around.

The Civil Rights Movement in America gave freedom to all Americans -- and a lot of those freedoms were abused to form entire communities of fatherless welfare babies who grow up and join gangs and destroy the communities they live in.

On top of the fact that Hitler got rid of a lot of criminals and degenerates, while the United States never had a mass cleansing campaign like Europe did. Your country killed millions of people and now you want to act like you're so perfect and cry about US prisons, after you managed to purify the people on your continent and get rid of the waste.

Prisons should be set up like Dante's Inferno. Divide it to nine circles and the severity of the punishment level is based on the crime.

NEET lyfe tho!

Ive got family and friends who work in corrections. US prisons are fucking crazy.
>guard gets attacked with shivs in the cell block
> guard taken to prison infirmary
>guard is attacked again, nurse manages to sound alarm and help him fight his 2 assailants.

He managed to hold off these 2 sub humans long enough for back up to arrive. Had he or the nurse fled the room they would have been killed by 6 inmates waiting in the hall way to prevent his escape.

All received extended sentences, time in the hole etc. But nothing meaningful to men already in prison on 40 year sentences.

Imo ALL non compliance or agression directed at a guard should be met with immediate deadly force. Period. In cases like above which obviously take great planning, coordination and conspiracy. Line them up and kill every 3rd or 5th man randomly.
These inmates are NOT people. And most should never be let out.

Rewards systems would do work for a lot of inmates. This is true for maybe 75% of the prison population but there is then the other 25% who are are unwilling or unable to change. It is hard and time consuming to sort out the good from the bad. Also the hardcore 25% have a disruptive influence on the rest and can easily manipulate the ones who can be helped by authorities. This leaves prisons effectively pissing against the wind because as quick ad they have helped someone the bad prisoners have corrupted another prisoner. Can you really help people like the ones in the video just by giving them a few treats?
youtu.be/_fD5TG2c70Y

There is a reward system in prisons though. If behave you get a lower classification and then you can work in the prison industries for pay and if you do real good you can go from a dormitory to a shared cell.

Prison is a kiked leftist idea that simply doesn’t work and never has. It’s crime college. We need to go back to the old way of doing things, minor crimes get you a fine, serious crimes get you the lash and capital crimes get you the rope. Confinement should be pre-trial only.

What if it's you in prison.

They don't

This!

it wouldn't be because I'm not a thieving nigger

>Ahmed the Refugee should get private visits with a group of school girls.
bs non-sequitur

>It's prison, you stupid fuck.
I guess I made it clear it is prison in my OP.

>Our main problem in the United States is we lock up too many people for made-up victimless crimes
untrue, as seen here - the vast majority of people are in prison for violent crime or serious property crime.

>crimes against the state, and "laws" that don't actually protect society.
Like laws protecting against fraud or theft?

>Still, the people who end up in prison deserve it a lot of times. The people who misbehave in prison are often serious offenders there for life or a very violent crime.
Actually, misbehavior typically comes from low IQ and very bad education and bringing up. Even hardened criminals can behave well in prison, if they are street smart.

>What good will a reward system do when this is human waste that would have been executed had some states not gotten rid of their death penalty?

You know how many of the 2.3 million people in US prisons would be executed 150yrs ago? Yes, less than 1 percent.

>The prison system is filled with some extremely disturbing and violent people that ethical laws and bans on cruel and unusual punishment mean we have to take care of on some basic human standard.

Fine, agreed. This still doesn’t address the question of how prisons should work.

Yeah, your crime rate is low, for now. You just let in over a million niggers and muslims. We'll see how your crime rate is in 10 years.

I don't believe in prisons. Eye for an eye. Punishment should be execution, physical public punishment or fine. Prison is bad for everyone involved.

So you are saying educating prisoners is a way to benefit society? Wow, I tell ya, go into politics and tell your fellow Americans.

There should be no such thing as prisons.
You either pay back what you stole/destroyed or you get put to death.

Just wall off California and put snipers on the walls. Shit goes in but doesn't ever come out.

What happens if you don't pay the fine?

Make sure you pay your taxes and keep your eyes on the road.

Ah, the Aztec method.

The prison system wants reoffenders. They're a huge profit. Studies show that criminals usually have terrible nutrition and vitamin d levels, which causes their erratic behavior. Ever notice that prisons offer no sunshine and feed these guys crap? Along with tons of vaccines. This makes these prisoners angry and more likely to reoffend

This

Attached: this.jpg (125x62, 2K)

Inequality in prisons can create enclaves.

How one treats prisoners should have minimum to no impact on crime rate.
We have Nordic countries where life in a prison is better than living normally in Eastern Europe, they still have plenty crime, then we have Brazil, where police basically shoots to kill on sight as soon as possible, which is a better approach, but does fuck all to reduce crime rate.

You get branded with the thieves’ mark on your forehead to let everyone know they’re dealing with a criminal

So Islam then?

they should die. any other answer was made by kikes

No the biblical method. If you can't afford to repay you become the victim's slave, for a max of 7 years.

Sounds super easy to exploit.

Outlaw private prisons. They really make no sense. Also, put most prisons in rural areas where there is manual work on fields, mines etc.

As some American said above, train them in machining and other crafts needed in our society.

that puts working people out of work by lowering prices to the level of slave wages, you fucking IDIOT

the only work they should be doing is on tasks that are too rough/deadly for normal people, or that need heavy subsidies such as railroads or as cannonfodder in war

Then you increase the tax burden. You lost the election, schlomo

So there is no threshold for the death sentence? If you drive over a dog while drunk... it is off to the execution center?

I am not opposed to hanging violent criminals within 1 week of their sentence. And I mean murderers, manslaughter, battery with long term health effects.

But honestly, I somehow have a problem with hanging someone for hacking his school computer to change his gf’s physical education grade from a C- to an A.

Solitary, all of them.

I don’t think this is really true, is it? Look at America and who works on fields - it is all Hispanic immigrants, legal or illegal. If you police your border there are hundreds of thousands of manual labor jobs available for prisoners.

Same here in Germany, we have a labor shortage in manufacturing, mining, agriculture, etc.

>We need to go back to the old way of doing things, minor crimes get you a fine, serious crimes get you the lash and capital crimes get you the rope. Confinement should be pre-trial only.

Even though this would be ideal -- look at the court system. As a government position, it is put under the most hardcore diversity standards. We now have real low IQ and incompetent people becoming judges and prosecutors being entrusted to make decisions with people's lives. In my state they're obsessed with putting lesbians, blacks, gays, asians, etc. on the bench because of too many fucking white males becoming judges. It's a shitshow.

Manslaughter is something you could easily be found guilty of should you do something as simple as fall asleep at the wheel.

How do lower prison costs in rural areas with inmates working for a living increase the tax burden?

Public lashings are the best punishment for most crimes

Good point. Solitary confinement makes a lot of sense, but they still need to work during the day.

Penal labor in the United States, a form of slavery or involuntary servitude, is explicitly allowed by the 13th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This form of legal slavery is only allowed when used as punishment for committing a crime. The 13th Amendment states that "neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for a crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."[1][2] Unconvicted detainees awaiting trial cannot be forced to participate in forced rehabilitative labor programs in prison as it violates the Thirteenth Amendment.

Do you force them to work or shoot them?. Many aren't exactly the cooperative type.

Yes, and falling asleep at the wheel and killing something is a serious violent crime to be honest.

in my state prisoners are paid a small amount to make the glasses and dentures for people on welfare
it means the state saves on their gibs programs and if you ever get out those are actually valuable skills for the con to return to working society

You tell them they need to work or just stay in their cells 24/7. My guess is 90 percent opt to work.

It could happen to you.

Expensive, retarded, and wasteful.

We’ll never get a real criminal justice system until after the DOTR.

In more recent years, prison labor continues to be used by corporations, especially in the private prison sector. Corporations, especially those in the technology and food industries, contract prison labor, as it is legal and often completely encouraged by government legislature.[6] The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) serves as a federal tax credit that grants employers $2,400 for every work-release employed inmate.[7] "Prison in-sourcing" has increasingly grown in popularity as the cheaper alternative to outsourcing with a wide variety of companies such as Whole Foods, McDonald's, Target, IBM, Texas Instruments, Boeing, Nordstrom, Intel, Wal-Mart, Victoria's Secret, Aramark, AT&T, BP, Starbucks, Microsoft, Nike, Honda, Macy's and Sprint and many more actively participating in prison in-sourcing throughout the 1990s and 2000s.[8]

>>Our main problem in the United States is we lock up too many people for made-up victimless crimes
>untrue, as seen here - the vast majority of people are in prison for violent crime or serious property crime.

There is still a percentage of people there for non-violent offenses.

>You know how many of the 2.3 million people in US prisons would be executed 150yrs ago? Yes, less than 1 percent.

Bullshit. There are at least 180,000+ locked up for murder. Depending on the circumstances, a good percent of those could safely be executed for their crimes.

You're also not counting the states like Louisiana, Florida, and Texas that still have the death penalty and have killed off a lot of the people that would have otherwise been in prison for the rest of their life.

>minor offence should get you minimal prison sentence
>mild offence should get you higher offence
>major offence should be life sentence
>crime against the state/treason should get you death penalty

why should tax payers pay 10k $ for a nigger to live like a kang in prison while a 10$ rope is more efficient? you literally can reuse the damn rope and if you're feeling a little french, you could alway's just use a guillotine

Attached: 1510217765678.png (1024x776, 577K)

it IS true, in fact, ALL STATES ban penal labor in the areas that their economy depends on

penal labor tends to revolve around industries the state must do, such as manufacturing license plates for cars and the like

states actively lobby to stop prison labor from driving down wages because prisons have a captive workforce with suppressed wages, meaning they churn out tasks for UNDER the market value

get a fucking brain. god damn.

I'm not opposed to working them to death in mines, but fuck. stop being a goddamned nigger tier idiot

I never said anyhting about legality. I said you are going to ruin teh fucking economy you subhuman mick

lets set aside the fact that a lot of the people getting glasses and dentures on welfare are ex cons.

so you are paying cons to service other cons.

do you any any other bright ideas captain downs syndrome?

>You either pay back what you stole/destroyed or you get put to death.

The problem is a lot of these criminals who are habitual offenders have nothing, will never have anything, and will never be able to pay it back.

Look at how many broke ass people we have these days who aren't criminals, who stay out of trouble, but are still poor as hell. The criminal class is even worse.

I always hear people say prison just makes better criminals, gen pop helps the prison industrial complex by leading to longer sentences due to fights and contraband; and is overall dangerous when one guard covers 20+ prisoners.
Confinement could cut down on all those.

Terribly sorry the serial rapist won't get to enjoy steak, lobster, and sushi after he sodomized a little girl and threw her battered and bruised body into a ditch on the side of the road.

Maybe Jamal should have thought about not being able to eat right when he decided to steal your work van, pawn all the tools so you can't even do your job to feed your family, and then use it to rob another family's house while they were on vacation.

I maintain the position that while the US locks up way too many people for petty and non-violent offenses, there's also a huge number of people who belong in prison and deserve everything they get for being shitty people. Very often with habitual offenders, they went and committed many crimes they never got caught for before they were finally incarcerated.

good. kill them

Who's gonna pay for it?

Question for americans:
What are your thoughts on Taxation without representation?
i heard that if you finish your sentence in prison you still can't vote
also what do you think of puerto rico not being able to vote for the US president

most of the 'nonviolent' offenses are plea deals the DA strikes with defense attorneys to guarantee conviction

more than 80% of ALL conviction are reduced plea bargains, and 90% of violent charges get reduced

so don't buy ANY of that nigger shit about nonviolent offenses

Prisons would stop being crime colleges and turn into a pipeline to the looney bin. You’ll be manufacturing government dependents.

If you make death the only punishment for crime than people stop taking the law seriously. Juries end up throwing out every case

reduce the number of laws on the books and reduce the influence juries have in court proceedings. if you reduce the influence of juries you reduce the influence of lawyers

bam. niggers get shot. murderers get shot.

End prisons and bring back shaming blocks and the noose in the town centre

Segregation in the prison system should be reintroduced, leaving niggers to their own devices would be the white man's reward.

This might work for small towns, but you would need an entire dedicated park in places like New York City for the huge number of criminals they arrest on a daily basis.

>How should prisons work?
You were onto something in the 1940-45 timeframe Germany.
