They were two women I knew from school that decided to become trans after graduation. They would get really pissed if I called them by their birth name and threatened suicide afterwards.

They would never actually commit suicide after threatening to do it, that is an abusive manipulation tactic on their part. It almost always is manipulation and an empty threat if anyone threatens to commit suicide because you did something he didn't like.
