I am certainly no radical republican, but I do not support slavery and I am by no means a libertarian, so I support the North for how the South were rebels going against my country, although I find myself agreeing with the South on some points.

The Founding Fathers were rebels who won.

It's not about winning or losing. The South had opportunities that were squandered to drag the war out and force a stalemate. Davis did not effectively manage his best people like Forrest; completely underutilized until it was too late in the war.

The Democratic Party (both in South and North, like Steven Douglas) in association with the Vatican (hence John Wilkes Booth) attempted to use the South in order to balkanize the US and weaken it.
