Based NPC

>revolve
I'm constantly open minded. There is no grounding to revolve around. See, I even used sweet sounding nice semantics that you irritating kikes love so much.

I wonder if it's possible to harness the pros of each thought process. Critical thinking could be cultivated faster and more thoroughly, maybe?

Maybe, but language thinking is intended for communication not personal contemplation. If you only think in language you're limiting yourself. You already know your own intentions and thinking in sophistry is a good way to deceive yourself and be wrong.

This post is giving off strong waves of fedora.

I'm a Christian, but that's because I take rationalism down a path most people don't like to travel.

It’s a mixture of both. It’s generally better to think with words because you still have to be able to think with ideas to form words. Thinking without words means you’re on the same thought level as animals. They don’t think with words

Words are only necessary for communication. Le animal meme is dumb because if you are human you can think logically without words, not just with emotion.

It’s better to think with words still because you can’t package abstract thoughts and build off of them. If you don’t think with words you never gain further insight to yourself. Words allow us to package ideas and concepts, something which can’t be done think visually

Ideas have their own essence. There's no need for labels except for communicating ideas.

I think you are setting yourself up if you only think with words. Some thoughts are more like an abstract passion. Like a color, just a feeling that leaves an impression on your conscious mind.

I have an internal monologue. I just prefer it quiet. Unless you're an animal you aren't limited to emotion alone without words. You can also think logically with ideas.

The raw material thought-feelings of pre-verbal cognition tend to be fleeting and easily forgotten unless they're anchored / articulated in language. If you don't have a robust ability to perform this language anchoring on the fly, by yourself then the direction of your thinking is ultimately at the whim of whoever manages to get the dialgoue they've produced in front of your eyeballs

But then you're forcing yourself to associate the idea with an English label which already comes with connotations and baggage that might not be related to the idea.

Go learn Latin and Greek then

I think this topic is fascinating.

My theory: inner monologue is the product of language development and adaption. Older societies thought visually but with the development of language, our minds evolved to assist in greater, deeper understanding of concepts and ideas.

Those without inner monologue or those who force it just have a little more difficult or more predisposed to visual thinking, may have a harder time grasping more complex thoughts.

I don't think they're NPCs but it is funny to see the reaction.

those with inner monologues can think visually too btw i don't think anyone is strictly limited and if you can't do both, then maybe you're the npc

You’re getting closer to the point. Words carry less baggage than images and allow for faster less biased processing. Idea is to word as word is to image.

at least he's thinking.
