It's literally impossible to investigate the case. Okay so they question Ford and Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh says he doesn't even remember the party, Ford has no new information outside of what she's already said publicly. Mark Judge also says he doesn't remember anything. Then the FBI decide to try to broaden their investigation. They ask Ford when the incident occurred, and where. She says "maybe 1982, but could be 1983 or 1981, or even 1980", and it happened "at a house in the neighbourhood". What now? The FBI isn't going to interview everyone who went to highschool between 1980 and 1983 within a 20-kilometer radius. It's a dud case.
