i guess things might be different elsewhere but the main reason birth rate's are stagnant at 3.09 kids per woman are housing prices and fuckhuge tax on cars and house loans . people actually want kids the reason the rates are stagnant is not due to that , they keep putting off having a child until they get a suitable environment to raise him

Mandatory healthcare premium for me and my wife: €120 * 2 * 12 = €2,880 per year. ( which doesn't provide free healthcare, first €600 is on each of us )

House ownership tax = €1500 per year based on house price.

I'm left with €20,770 which is less than half my income. Over that I have to pay various other premiums and a 21% VAT.

The following generation can then afford to have more children, and spend more restarting the cycle of economic and population growth.
