I am the only one who thinks that EU and UK politicians have done a deal to not get a Brexit deal so UK politicians will legmetly propose another referendum in which they will make Britain to choose between hard brexit or remain? hoping that remain wins?
I am the only one who thinks that EU and UK politicians have done a deal to not get a Brexit deal so UK politicians...
when i say hard brexit is to leave without deal
It wouldn't surprise me.
They cannot possibly be this incompetent - it's like a TV show, from Davis to May it has all been a shambles.
Not to mention the whole Northern Ireland thing which is STILL unresolved and likely to cause the most problems.
NI/Scotland will vote Remain again, sadly it's up to England to turn the vote.
Don't think so.
May's statement pretty much hinted at an almost certain hard Brexit
could be part of the plan. when it's clear that it's gonna be a hard brexit will be when another referendum wouldnt sound too crazy since a hard brexit is siucidal and people could say it's not what they voted for. So just let's make another referndum to see if britain is willing to face leave EU with no deal.
That is exactly what is happening, they're hoping that with enough propaganda they can change public opinion on the matter.
They're going about the wrong way getting the plebs to turn though - with the whole 'EU will stall everything if the UK want another vote' stuff over the past few days. They will likely see it as the EU trying to interfere. A better way would be May suggesting it and the EU accepting it - it would come across as the UK telling the EU rather than the other way around.
Brexiteers aren't very smart.
Less than an hour ago May literally said there will not be another referendum.
How many times did she say there wasn't going to be a snap election?
still sounds far fetched
People voted for Brexit, whatever that means and how it will be achieved.
Since negotiations collapsed a second referendum or a backtrack will signal a crushing defeat of the English political class, a humiliation and surrender equivalent to that of our government. That will mean, all of these people's political career is basically over and the ruling class will be delegitimised.
The torment of England will not stop even if they capitulate. They can't go back, it will be far worse.
It wouldn't be the first or the last time their tactics backfire.
It's what she has to say right now to go ahead with the Master plan
Can't say I remember her ever saying that.
it just depends how you want to take it. People voted for Brexit meant to get a deal with the EU to leave, since there isnt going to be a deal they could use the excuse that this is another escenario, this leave without deal or remain.
No deal means British troops defending the Northern Ireland border and Gibraltar and trade relations are being regulated by WTO standards.
May concluded her speech saying we are ready for a no deal.
If that happens, Foster pulls her support and the UK has another election in which May does not survive.
Well it's either that and elections or capitulation. The so called negotiation was a mistake from the get-go
Leaving without a deal is NOT suicidal at all. It is actually what we should have done two years ago. This is just a pantomime to adjust the world economies for a status-quo. In the end the people with money will still have money and the rest of us will be slaves. Nothing changes.
This rubbish about people changing their minds is purely sillyness. Most voters in the UK were already decided long before any campaign. It is a very small minority of people who are fickle. Another vote would swing more to the leave side and they know that.
Its obvious they're messing up brexit. But i hope people are ready for REAL brexi
Which is a Hard Brexit.
They're leaving in about 6 months. It's too late to have another vote in time, the legal process is too slow.
so we can have a general election in 6 weeks but not a referendum in 6 months
ok
Do you know how long it took to set up Brexit?
