I never was bullied extremely bad so I think the little bit I did experience ended up being s good thing that toughened me up. It seems like there were weaker nerdier kids who were bullied worse and it ended up being a negative thing for them but nothing wrong with a little bit

It depends. From what I saw in the school there were two types of bullies. Hooligans who both bullied other kids and rebelled against their moms and teachers by committing crimes and generally fucking shit up by the age of 12 only to drop out after middle school, and the types who just wanted weird freaks to fuck off. The bullying done by the first group doesn't really have a justifiable purpose, even if they usually picked on kids that were already bullied and were immune to it themselves because they could have had violent response.

It was hot but it was the the time I didn't find God and committed a lot of sin. That guy never deserved to be bullied, he kept hanging around us to try and make friends. It makes me feel really bad because he apparently turned out to be a transgender and is now a social justice advocate.

i was a bit of a weak willed bitch in grade and the beginning of middle school. a kid started bullying me for no reason, shorter fat prick with a thick hick accent. 1 day in gym he wouldn't stop running his fucking mouth and i had it. knocked him right on his ass. he started to tear up a bit and just stared at me like a cornered animal. teacher saw everything and i didn't get in the slightest bit of trouble. from then on my self esteem improved dramatically.

It mostly due to people not knowing what is right or wrong. Since people either ignore or just don't know this information they are more susceptible to just accepting self preservation as their ideology.

I got bullied like any normal kid, but this one kid Steve really had it out for me, and would pick on me relentlessly. He stole my sunglasses and destroyed them in middle school, we fought and got into trouble, and he fought other kids all the time, too.

Turns out he killed himself sometime in 10th grade, I hadn't seen him in a couple of years because we had different classes.

I'm Millennial. This treatment made me have a nothing to lose mentality. I'm used to being at the bottom so I can break norms easily with no problem.

It also taught me that people were like pitbulls that can't be negotiated with. You have to impose your willpower on them. Otherwise they will endlessly try to tear you down. The fewer people with your view the harder you have to push.

Nah, it's basically the imposition of a primitive, threat based, hierarchical system. It does establish some kind of law and order, but when the monkey at the top has a generally selfish and sadistic personality with an inability to admit to any personal shortcomings and therefore be incapable of self improvement, then, as soon as said hierarchy approaches any kind of complex tasks, problems really start to flair up fast and there's not exactly much "team morale" to fall back on and endure hardships with.
