There's more evidence that Muhammad existed than there is evidence that Jesus did. Muhammad probably existed, there's ample evidence and multiple accounts of his life. Doesn't mean the man was a prophet or anything, he is more like a warlord leader of a cult that took down the pagan religions where he lived.

As for Jesus, likely someone existed at that time and was killed by the Romans, but as for whether he did any of the things credited to him centuries after he supposedly died is not provable at all. Even most roman sources are not contemporary to the time period that Jesus was alive.
